Overall, I think he's been a very good Kicker for us.
People here saying that we desperately need a new Kicker on the team is a big overreaction.
I think that it's fair to give Bass another chance.
Also, he's 205/210 on XP attempts. That's pretty good considering that extra points are no longer "chip shots" anymore.
I would be too, which is why I am not in panic mode over Bass.
A number of fans actually believe we lost the Chiefs playoff game because of Bass. They obviously did not watch that game.
Has Bass really hit the wall? After one unspectacular season?
I get your point. It's just that all I'm looking for are players who are reliable receivers.
I don't care about a players ceiling when we are looking at a 4th or 5th receiver option. If they can get the job done, I'm happy, because I doubt that these receivers we are signing to 1 year deals are a part of the long-term plans for the team.
Then again, I could be wrong.
You got that right.
I still muse that the Bills could've had Van Jefferson or Donovan Peoples-Jones. Both are young and have good experience and would not have cost that much to sign. I find these two receivers to be better options than Cephus or Claypool.
That being said, I'll give both Cephus & Claypool a chance. They are both low risk signings.
Yep, they keep yelling that we're not going to win with choir boys, then we get Stefon Diggs, and everyone wants him banished, but let's replace him with Brandon Aiyuk.
Yes, it is not easy to choose only 4.
Others that I love are: Galaxian, Gyruss, Zaxxon, Q*Bert, Rampage, Gauntlet, Gorf, Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Star Wars, Star Trek, Phoenix, Joust, Defender, Dig-Dug.
I agree with your take. I'm still pissed that we didn't get that 3rd rounder for Edmunds.
I do think that Beane will look to move up, but I don't think there will be any takers.
Trading down seems very likely. Maybe we move down a couple spots with San Francisco, and get one of their many draft picks. Then find someone early in the second round to trade with?
