#Receipts on the Chris Ivory signing
Mark Vader replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I didn't hate the signing of Ivory at all. Although, I am surprised at how good he's looked. -
That's what I am thinking also. Louisiana State losing yesterday really hurt the hype a bit.
-
So where does Gameday go to next? Baton Rouge for Louisiana State-Georgia? Ann Arbor for Michigan-Wisconsin?
-
Auburn lost again and now Kentucky just got their first loss....is it smooth sailing for Alabama?
-
Let's wait and see. Whenever Texas makes a statement and they get people to start believing them.....BOOM!....they then lose to Oklahoma State or Texas Tech.
-
Tough loss for Louisiana State. Lessens the marquee value of next weeks game against Georgia. SEC is so tough.

Wow! Christian Bale is one talented man. Oh by the way, that's Sam Rockwell as George W. Bush. I'm in.

Yikes!

With Fall in full season we have seen the typical drop in overall box office numbers, but with October starting things will trend upward a bit before the Holiday Season begins next month. As always with this month there will be a few things out there to give thrills and chills and maybe a little fun. There will also be a bit of action to go along with that as well. Leading this month however, are two films that are generating a lot of Oscar buzz, and getting ahead start of all the other independent releases that tend to come out at the end of December. It will be a very diverse month. Ryan Gosling stars in Universal's & Dreamworks' "First Man". A look at the life of the astronaut, Neil Armstrong, and the legendary space mission that led him to become the first man to walk on the Moon on July 20, 1969. Also starring Claire Foy, Jason Clarke & Kyle Chandler. Directed by Damien Chazelle. Bradley Cooper directs & stars along with Lady Gaga in Warner Bros. & MGM's "A Star Is Born". A musician helps a young singer and actress find fame, even as age and alcoholism send his own career into a downward spiral. Also starring Sam Elliott & Greg Grunberg. Tom Hardy is "Venom". When Eddie Brock acquires the powers of a symbiote, he will have to release his alter-ego "Venom" to save his life. Also starring Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed, Jenny Slate, Marcella Bragio & Woody Harrelson. 20th Century Fox presents, "Bad Times At The El Royale". Seven strangers, each with a secret to bury, meet at Lake Tahoe's El Royale, a rundown hotel with a dark past. Over the course of one fateful night, everyone will have a last shot at redemption - before everything goes to hell. Starring Chris Hemsworth, Dakota Johnson, Jon Hamm & Jeff Bridges. Jamie Lee Curtis stars in "Halloween". Laurie Strode comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago. Also starring Judy Greer, Andi Matichak & James Jude Courtney. Jack Black stars in "Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween". Halloween comes to life in a comedy adventure based on R.L. Stine's 400-million-selling series of books. Also starring Wendi McLendon-Covey, Madison Iseman & Ken Jeong. In "The Hate U Give", Starr witnesses the fatal shooting of her childhood best friend Khalil at the hands of a police officer. Now, facing pressures from all sides of the community, Starr must find her voice and stand up for what's right. Starring Amandla Stenberg, Regina Hall, Russell Hornsby & Anthony Mackie. In "Hunter Killer", An untested American submarine captain teams with U.S. Navy Seals to rescue the Russian president, who has been kidnapped by a rogue general. Starring Gerard Butler, Common, Ethan Baird, Jacob Scipio, Dempsey Bovell & Gary Oldman. In "Suspiria", A darkness swirls at the center of a world-renowned dance company, one that will engulf the artistic director, an ambitious young dancer, and a grieving psychotherapist. Some will succumb to the nightmare. Others will finally wake up. Starring Chloe Grace Moretz, Tilda Swinton, Dakota Johnson, Doris Wick & Mia Goth. "Indivisible" is the extraordinary true story of Army Chaplain Darren Turner and his wife Heather. When war etches battle scars on their hearts, they face one more battle: the fight to save their marriage. Starring Justin Breuning & Sarah Drew. Finally, in "Johnny English Strikes Again", After a cyber-attack reveals the identity of all of the active undercover agents in Britain, Johnny English is forced to come out of retirement to find the mastermind hacker.
