  1. While it may not be "normal", it sure does seem to be happening more often. College basketball overall has gotten to a point where the mid majors and smaller programs can beat the elite schools, or at least hang with them and give them a tough game on more of a regular basis than in years past.
  2. My first shot at this year's draft..... 9: R1P9 EDGE CLELIN FERRELL CLEMSON 41: R2P9 G MICHAEL JORDAN OHIO STATE 72: R3P8 WR ANDY ISABELLA UMASS 111: R4P9 TE ZACH GENTRY MICHIGAN 133: R4P31 C ELGTON JENKINS MISSISSIPPI STATE 148: R5P9 RB DAVID MONTGOMERY IOWA STATE 163: R5P24 CB TREVON DIGGS ALABAMA 184: R6P9 LB KHALIL HODGE BUFFALO 225: R7P9 S MARVELL TELL III USC 228: R7P12 OT DENNIS DALEY SOUTH CAROLINA
  3. In this case, I think both arguments are justified. Allen's completion percentage is sub-par, and he has to get better at that. Primarily he has to do better on short passes. Having watched the Lions game, he did a very good job on throwing the short pass, without them being too low to catch. The "trash" argument can not be dismissed. Josh Allen has had numerous passes that have either been dropped or taken away by penalty. The offensive line play has been inconsistent all year. Josh Allen has not been perfect by any means, but he is playing better. I'm not saying that he's Rookie of the Year. I just think that the future is bright with him as our QB. This upcoming offseason is very key to the Bills future.
  4. You don't think his passing has gotten better throughout the season?
  5. Criticize all you want. I trust that you will also give credit when it is deserved as well?
  6. Josh Rosen was the QB I wanted. Josh Allen was my second choice. I'm fine with the decision the Bills made. Has Allen made mistakes? Yes. He's made some very poor decisions. He's also made some very good plays too, not just with his legs but with his arm. Any fair minded person can see that. Are you willing to wait and see if Josh Allen can continue to improve, and give the front office the benefit of the doubt on whomever they add to make this team better next year? Or are you expecting a Super Bowl championship next year?
  7. So you don't think Josh Allen is the right QB for this team?
  8. I'm shocked that the Bay Area did not get one. When the XFL was first around, the San Francisco Demons had a strong following and many fans went to those games.
  9. We shall just have to wait and see. Unless you are suggesting otherwise? Would you rather have a different QB as the starter for the Bills going forward?
  10. Considering what he has had to work with on offense, which has continued to change throughout the season.....I'll take that record.
  11. It would be difficult for him to get a starting job in the league. I think it would be great for the Bills to sign him to a 2-3 year deal.
  12. The Lions did target White, and they were successful. White was beat today, but he wasn't toasted. Golladay had the upper hand, literally. When it was over, the Lions had 13 points and the Bills got the win.
  13. Saw "The Mule" today. Good not great movie. Clint Eastwood can still bring it. Had to get used to Michael Pena without a mustache.
  14. I have heard of it, but I've never seen it.
  15. The Holiday Season is in full gear and the final helping of Oscar contenders get their big debuts before ballots are sent out. Marvel Superheros & Star Wars Jedi Knights & Sith Lords are sitting it out this final month of the year, but there are other big tent pole popcorn munching films to choose from. There are various categories of movies to choose from to keep everyone interested. Big name actors are aplenty this time of year, looking for both box office success and Oscar consideration. A couple of films look to score in both of those areas. Christian Bale stars in "Vice". 16. Not only that the Golden Globes gave it a Best Picture Drama nomination.
  17. Which means you have neither of these teams defenses on your fantasy team.
  18. The Bills are not that good of a team right now. It's only the second season under this regime and they are not finished with rebuilding this team. We just have to wait and see. Let's see what happens during this upcoming off season. I personally feel better and more optimistic about the future of the Bills, than I have in recent years.
  19. I'm always optimistic about the Bills. I do think that the future is bright. We finally have a QB that could be very good to great for us for a long time. Josh Allen still makes mistakes, but he's a competitor and I have confidence that he's the kind of player who will do everything he can to improve his game for as long as he can. No question the Bills must get better on offense. Imagine if Allen had a consistent pocket to throw in, and better talent at receiver. How many dropped passes were there yesterday? I want to see the Bills go heavy on offense in free agency, then go 50/50 on offense and defense in the draft. Yes, we do need more help on the defensive side of the ball. How big of a challenge will it be for us to sign quality players in free agency? Yes, we will have a lot of money to spend, but so will a bunch of other teams. I believe there are 2 or 3 teams that have more cap space than we do. Let's see what McBeane can do in this area. Yep. From Louisiana State.
  20. I'm fine with BPA or trading down. John from Rverside, trading down twice would be a good idea as well. Let's get rich in Day 2 draft picks, we could use all that we can get. Yes, our offense is in dire need of help(C, OG, WR, TE), but we need help on defense too(DE, LB). My hope is that we go offensive heavy in free agency, then go 50/50 on offense and defense in the draft.
  21. A decent offensive line would be nice too
  22. Alright, then what is your solution?
  23. It's funny how these threads are always started by people with less than 50 posts.
