I don't care about what he did this year. That's not what I'm getting at.
There were things that he did in his final year that I thought was insulting to the fans. His attitude really pissed me off. We as fans do not deserve that.
Do I hold a grudge, yes! Like I said, I was thrilled when the Bills drafted him. I even defended him in his first few seasons, when people were complaining that Gilmore does not get any interceptions. His final year with the Bills was the last straw for me.
If he's reached his potential with the Patriots*.....so be it.
Just so you know, I was a fan of Gilmore. I wanted the Bills to draft him.
I liked what I saw from him when he was here, and we all saw what he did against Odell Beckham Jr. and it was great.
What I hated was his last season here. His attitude was terrible and you could see it in his play. He did not look like he wanted to be here and he played like it.
The Chris Hogan play is one example of how his final season was here.
Conley & Humphries are not true #1 WR's, but they would add good experience and more stability to our group.
If you add Conley & Humphries along with Foster, Jones & McKenzie then draft a WR who could be a #1, then you are looking at a much stronger group of receivers than what we had last year.
Exactly.
I could easily see Gruden not being satisfied with having two very late picks in the first round and wanting to make a splash by moving up into the top 10 again.
Also, if the Bills choose to stay where they are at and get the player they want at 9, I'm fine with that.
If Bobby Beathard were still the Redskins GM, would you get their 2020 first round pick by trading down 7 spots. Otherwise, that's not happening.
Although you could get a 2nd & a 4th, but not a 2nd & 3rd.
I like the effort you put into this. I think Chris Conley would be a solid signing.
Good job.
Thank you, although it's pick 27 not 28. Either way, it should still be a fair trade.
I'm fine with staying put and picking the best player available at 9, but if we could make this trade with the Raiders, I say do it.
If the Bills choose to trade down, then they should trade their first round pick(#9) to the Raiders for their two late first round picks #25 & #27.
The Raiders need all the help they can get.
Does anyone know, by using the draft points value that this would be a fair trade?
Well, well, well.....I had no idea.
I was at the draft last year and a friend of mine was unsure on how to feel about the Bills drafting Josh Allen. She was concerned that he was a racist.
