DK Metcalf requests trade to a contender
Mark Vader replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agree with you. The Bills have a real chance of winning a Super Bowl, if they pursue players like Garrett & Metcalf. The future is now!!! Drafting a rookie late in the first round isn't going to put us over the top. -

Holland's injury history makes me nervous. I'd pass on him.

The Seahawks are starting over. The Pete Carroll era has ended. They probably want to get rid of big contracts to save money and become spenders for the players that they want to build on. -
He was a great Lex Luthor.

Finally, someone said it. I'm not a Milano hater. I just don't think that Williams should've been on the sidelines as much as he was, once Milano returned. -
The French Connection, Crimson Tide, The Firm, The Birdcage, Enemy of the State, and the small part he had in Young Frakenstein. RIP, Sir.

Oh God! Dawn from Buffy the Vampire Slayer! So sad to hear this. She was 39. RIP, dear lady.

I'll see your Stroud & Royal, and raise you Mark Anderson and Joe Panos.

I've seen him a little bit from last season. Kansas had a terrible start before they rebounded. Looks good. I'd be fine with drafting him.

Harold Landry given permission to seek trade

Let me know when the Titans give Jeffery Simmons permission to seek a trade. -
I get it. At the same time, I don't want to count on rookies as replacements. That's too much of a risk. I'm fine with bringing back Smoot, but he's more of a back-up. Javon Solomon has potential, but I don't expect him to be at a starter level just yet. That's why I say we should try and get Myles Garrett or Maxx Crosby, and also try and get Jeffery Simmons or Dexter Lawrence. They are all still young enough to have significant careers with us. All options should be on the table. If Von Miller is willing to take another pay cut, then I'm cool with that.
-
I would like to get younger too. That being said Miller would be good as a situational pass-rusher, and if he were to take a pay cut, it would definitely help our salary cap. There's a lot of uncertainty with rookie players, and I really would like to get other players via trade than hope that rookies can have an instant impact.
-
I wouldn't be surprised if Von Miller took another pay cut to stay with the team.

Commanders DT Johnathan Allen Released.

Intriguing, but I'd still like to get someone a bit younger. -
My go to pizza is Pepperoni and Sausage with extra cheese and extra sauce. Sometimes I will add mushrooms to that. Also, getting a pizza with linguica is very nice too.

I feel that that the Bills should focus on trading for players who are still relatively young, but are on losing teams. Go after Myles Garrett or Maxx Crosby. Go after Jeffery Simmons or Dexter Lawrence. Go after D.K. Metcalf. These are proven players who can help us right now. Even if you just get one of them. I'll say it again, I don't care about draft picks. The future is NOW for the Buffalo Bills.

Is this true?

Don't underestimate Beane. He was able to trade Marshall Newhouse for a draft pick.
