  1. It's easy to say that now that we have a rookie salary cap. I don't remember first round holdouts being that prominent with the Bills when Ralph was the owner.
  2. Danny Crossman . Met him at San Jose State's Pro Day one year. It was good talking to him. Josh Reed. Super nice guy.
  3. Thank you! I didn't like how Buzz was so dim-witted. The inner voice thing was funny at first, but it was overdone and it made Buzz look foolish. He sure seemed to know what to do in "Toy Story 2" when Woody was stolen.
  4. I agree with you. I love the Disney movies, and I do not understand why they are churning these movies out at such a rapid pace. I missed out on "Dumbo", which I heard was alright. I have had no interest in seeing "Beauty and the Beast" or "Aladdin", and I have no intention of seeing "The Lion King". They are mostly just carbon copies of the animated movies that are almost word-for-word. Yes, there are a few minor differences and there is always a brand new song added, just so they can qualify for an Original Song nomination, but there isn't anything all that new to it. Also, calling "The Lion King" a live-action movie is ridiculous. Just give me the animated movies instead. Now I did see the trailer for "Mulan", and from what I saw that looks to be different. So there is hope.
  5. Very sad. Spy Vs, Spy The Lighter Side Of... If the kids from Peanuts actually talked like real kids. Jaw'd & Jaw'd Too Star Blech: The Next Degradation Conan The Barbituate
  6. I was at this game too, and what you are describing does not surprise me. 49'er fans were furious when the team traded Joe Montana, and many of them would not give Steve Young any benefit of the doubt.
  7. Saw "Spider-Man: Far From Home" today. Really enjoyed it. I thought "Homecoming" was better, but this was still good. I still do not like MJ, and I am baffled as to why Peter even likes her. I'm still holding out hope that this fake MJ is just that, a fake, and the real Mary Jane actually shows up. That was a very good 1st end credit bumper. It'll be great to see where this leads. The Marvel Cinematic Universe is done for the year now, so we'll see what's in store in 2020.
  8. A game that fans love and coaches hate.
  9. I've lived in California for over 40 years, and I have never seen anything like this before. Two enormous earthquakes in practically the same area in back-to-back days?! That is frightening. You are also right, being outside during an earthquake is much different than being indoors. Hope you are all safe down there. I was fortunate enough to be outside during the '89 earthquake. That was a moment I will never forget. Telephone poles swaying back-and-forth, car alarms going off, I saw a few cats running for safety. It was scary, but probably not as bad if I had been inside my house. We lost power for about half a day, but that was the worst it was for us. I had no idea how severe it was until I heard the news on the radio. Some people were saying that the Bay Bridge collapsed, which at first I thought they meant the entire bridge had collapsed. All the news coverage was focused on San Francisco, which I understand. However nobody got it worse in that earthquake than Santa Cruz did. They were decimated.
  10. I'm getting back on track. So....do you want to see anything?
  11. The Summer Season reaches the month of July and with it come some real heavy hitters. May & June had their moments, but overall it's been an up and down Summer Season. July is set to change that. Three highly anticipated movies staked their claim this month and movie studios took notice as no other movie will open nationwide against any of them. In fact, July looks to have the least amount of nationwide releases for the year. It's easy to see why. Disney continues to dominate with two of these releases striking early and in the middle of the month, while Columbia wraps it up. Disney & Marvel move on to the next step of their Cinematic Universe, with "Spider-Man: Far From Home". Following the aftermath of "Avengers: Endgame", Spider-Man must step up to take on new threats in a world that has changed forever. Starring Tom Holland, Samuel L. Jackson, Jake Gyllenhaal, Marisa Tomei, Jon Favreau, Cobie Smulders, Zendaya, jacob Batalon, Tony Revolori, Angourie Rice & Remy Hill. Apparently one animated movie turned live action movie this summer wasn't enough, although in this case you can take the phraee "Live-Action" with a gallon of salt water. Disney comes back again this time with, "The Lion King". After the murder of his father, a young lion prince flees his kingdom only to learn the true meaning of responsibility and bravery. Starring the voices of Donald Glover, James Earl Jones, Chiwetel Ejiofor, John Kani, Billy Eichner, Seth Rogen, Beyonce, Alfre Woodard, John Oliver, & Keegan-Michael Key. Columbia Pictures & director Quentin Tarantino present, "Once Upon A Time...in Hollywood". A faded television actor and his stunt double strive to achieve fame and success in the film industry during the final years of Hollywood's Golden Age in 1969 Los Angeles. Starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Timothy Olyphant, Dakota Fanning, Damian Lewis, Emile Hirsch, Luke Perry, Rumer Willis, Damon Herriman, Al Pacino & Kurt Russell. Oh by the way, there are other movies this month..... In "The Art of Self-Defense", A man is attacked at random on the street. He enlists at a local dojo, led by a charismatic and mysterious sensei, in an effort to learn how to defend himself. Starring Jesse Eisenberg, Alessandro Nivola, Imogen Poots & Steve Terada. In "Crawl", A young woman, while attempting to save her father during a Category 5 hurricane, finds herself trapped in a flooding house and must fight for her life against alligators. Starring Kaya Scodelario, Barry Pepper, Ross Anderson & Anson Boon. Finally, in "Stuber", A detective recruits his Uber driver into an unexpected night of adventure. Starring Dave Bautista, Kumail Nanjiani, Karen Gillan, Betty Gilpin, Steve Howey, Natalie Morales & Mira Sorvino. 12. Well then, let's hope that "1917" will be a war movie to look forward to this year.
  13. Exactly. That's what makes me nervous. Hoping it all works out right.
  14. I'm fine with that, I just want the movie to be good.
  15. Except "Titanic" was a good movie. Overrated, but good.
  16. Yes, Roland Emmerich does make me very nervous about this movie. Not that thrilled about Mandy Moore either, but Patrick Wilson, Aaron Eckhart & Woody Harrelson are positive signs. I was excited when I had heard that they were making this movie, but knowing who the director is, gives me pause. Although, I may still end up seeing it. Please, be good.
  17. 11-8-19 https://midway.movie/trailer Thoughts?
  18. Kevin Costner is a decent actor. Hollywood tried to make him an "every man" type of actor, so they put him in various types of movies, and it just didn't work. He just is not versatile. Pretty much the same way Ben Affleck is.
  19. The same way Melissa McCarthy does.
  20. Yes, all three of them were there on day 1. Before Olbermann, Bob Ley would co-host Sportscenter with Dan Patrick, and they both had a running gag at the end of the show where they would both hold a pose, as if the show had just done a freeze frame. When in actuality it was still LIVE. It was quite funny. Anyone else remember them doing that?
  21. I think the only draft pick he did not have on the roster was Daryl Johnson.
  22. That doesn't surprise me about Forky, he was a great addition. As for more Toy Story movies, I think they pretty much wrapped it up, especially with how they ended this movie. Theoretically it's possible, I just don't know where they go from here.
  23. Just saw "Toy Story 4". Disney & Pixar once again did a great job. I think that 2 & 3 are better than this, but they still made a very good story, lots of funny moments. Forky is a funny addition. It's great seeing all of these characters again, see it and enjoy. One more thing, the opening scene of this movie really shows just how far animation of this type has advanced since the first Toy Story movie. Amazing. "Finding Dory" was a money grab, "Toy Story 4" is worth the price of admission.
