You think we have a chance of drafting players like Lamb or Epenesa? I'd be a bit surprised if Nico Collins enters the draft this year.

Penn State does not have an explosive offense. Wouldn't be surprised if this is a low scoring game. This is a different Louisiana State team, they have a quarterback now. Even when the Fighting Tigers were running the stone age offense, Alabama still had a tough time beating them. That is surprising. This is the biggest game for the Golden Gophers in years. P.J. Fleck is doing his best to make them relevant since.....since.....since.....I don't know.

Saint Mary's is ranked # 20, and Wisconsin is unranked. Still, that is a big win for the Gaels. They always seem to put together solid teams, even though they are overshadowed by Gonzaga.

Whew! The Juwan Howard era at Michigan got off to a weird start. Wolverines up by 30 in the second half, went ice cold and had to hang on to beat Appalachian State.

I agree that we will be busy during free agency again, although we might lock up or give extensions to some of our own players. Wallace is having a tougher time than last year, but is still pretty good. I don't think CB is that important compared to other positions.

Is he an unrestricted free agent after the end of the season? If he is, do you think the Dolphins will just let him walk away?

He is a fiery player. He has proven himself to many of us that he is worth keeping. I hope we can give him a new contract before the season is over.

This is true. He's given up first downs, but he almost always makes the tackle after reception. It is concerning, but for a 2nd year undrafted player, he's doing pretty good. Kevin Johnson is there to step in if things get bad, but so far the coaching staff has not made that move.

I disagree with your assessment of Levi. He's been targeted a lot and he is giving up receptions, but he's not getting burnt. Very few times this year have I seen him give up big plays.

Wallace has been targeted a lot, however he hasn't given up big plays. Whenever a receiver catches the ball against him, he is usually right there to make the tackle. Which Johnson do you like better than him?

I like that too. What frustrated me today was our opening drive in the 3rd quarter. The offense was moving the ball, then on 4th & inches we hand the ball off to Gore who is already 4 yards behind the line of scrimmage and lose the drive on downs. Why didn't we go with the QB sneak? Allen had a much better chance at making that first down than Gore. The worst thing about that play is that it came after the Redskins had called time out and they saw us running the ball with Gore. After the timeout we did the exact same play! I'm glad we won today, but I just felt that we were going to score on that opening drive, be it a touchdown or field goal, and that would have really demoralized the Redskins.

They won a game against a team that they should beat somewhat easily. Beating Notre Dame the way they did had to have been a big morale boost. Had they pulled off the comeback against Penn State, they would be even more fired up. In a way, they are back. They have a week off to prepare against a decent Michigan State team at home. If they beat them the way they won their last two games, then watch out.

What made that play even more maddening is that the Redskins called timeout before as the Bills were running the play. After the timeout, the Bills ran the EXACT SAME PLAY!

Why are we running a QB sneak when it is 3rd or 4th and 2, but when the distance is far less than a yard, we don't run a QB sneak? The Bills should not have had to run 4 plays from inside the 1 in order to score a touchdown.
