  1. Does Poyer have one year left on his current contract?
  2. One ticket to Green Bay is on the line. ???
  3. And they have been in the league for a combined 28 years
  4. Running outside on 2nd & Goal from the 1? Bad idea.
  5. There were several times in the second half when Beasley was not on the field at all. Yet we had Patrick DiMarco lined up out wide. Brilliant.
  6. Amusing. Josh Allen is an exciting player, and he improved dramatically this year. I hope he can get better and I think he will.
  7. He was getting it done in the first half. Then we get to the Texans 30 yard line with just over a minute to go with two time outs and decide to let the clock run and settle for a field goal instead of trying for a touchdown. That's because of Josh Allen?!
  8. I saw no limitations on that opening drive. Was that all a fluke?
  9. If that were the case, then they wouldn't have been pulling out all the stops like they did on the opening drive. Then we get them settling for a field goal at halftime instead of going for the touchdown. To me that shows lack of killer instinct by McDermott, not Josh Allen.
  10. We overachieved only in the eyes of the "experts".
  11. I don't know if I'll be holding onto this loss for that long. I'll be looking towards free agency and the draft, and seeing how we can improve. The playoff loss will be long gone by then.
  12. I'm still pissed! Yeah, it's great that the Patriots* lost, and our 4 straight AFC Championships record is still intact. But just think how that would feel if the Bills had won! It isn't that the Bills lost that has me sick, it's how they lost. They had no business losing this game. Now all of the Josh Allen haters are going to be vindicated after this. All the "experts" in the media are going to say "Told ya so!", and that makes it even worse. All the ball sucking that everyone gave to J.J. Watt is even more disgusting. I wanted so much for the Bills to win and let everyone who doubted them suck it! I did not delude myself into thinking that this team was going to the Super Bowl, but they should have won this game. As tough as it's going to be to get over this game, I'm still proud of the Bills having a winning season and getting into the playoffs on their own without any help. There is reason to be optimistic for the future. Brandon Beane will do what he has to in order to make this team better. That's what he's been doing since he got here, and I don't expect that to change. I don't care how tough our schedule looks next year, the Bills are not going to be pushovers, and they are going to give their opponents one helluva fight.
  13. If Josh Allen had lateraled the ball earlier, then I would have been fine with it. That was a terrible decision on his part. I like Josh Allen, and his attempt to do everything and anything to get a win. I want him to succeed with the Bills, and I think he can. That being said, that play was a dumb move on his part.
  14. Thank you, Lorax. You're leadership and inspiration to this team will be greatly missed. Probably the lone player that was a great addition from the Wrecks regime. I'll never forget his play in the Jacksonville playoff game. He was a monster in that one. Best wishes, and enjoy retirement.
  15. That's how I felt. They had the Texans on the ropes. A 96 yard touchdown drive right before halftime would have been a real demoralizing moment for Houston. Even if the Texans defense would have stepped up and held them to a field goal, you have to at least try to get to the end zone. Instead of trying a low-to-mid percentage pass to Duke Williams. They should have called time out at 1:08 on the clock and come up with more plays to get into the end zone.
  16. Yes, Williams should have caught that ball and gotten the touchdown. The Bills failed to use the game clock and their timeouts wisely. I did not see urgency or playing "Fearless" at the end of that drive.
  17. But when they got to the Texans 30 yard line, look at all the time they wasted by letting the clock run, and with 2 time outs. They had a chance to run more plays and having a better shot at the end zone than from what they attempted.
  18. Yes. Good for him, he showed up in a big way. Still, I did not want him to be our leading scorer today.
  19. Is it okay to say that both Allen & Brown were both to blame on that play?
  20. They wasted so much time at the ending of that drive. They started that drive on their own 4 yard line. Imagine how the Texans defense would have felt going into halftime after giving up a 96 yard drive!
  21. I think that was Knox who whiffed.
  22. No one can blame Hauschka.
  23. When the Bills settled for the field goal at the end of the first half, I felt very uneasy. Yes, it was good to be up 13-0 at halftime, but they had a chance to make it 17-0. Instead they chose to let the clock run and were complacent with getting 3 points. The offense was moving the ball well enough and had two time outs on a drive that started at their own 4 yard line! When they got far into Houston territory and after gaining a key first down, the Bills let the clock run a good 30-40 seconds. They lost a golden opportunity to put the Texans in a deep hole.
