Tre & Shady talk about the Vontae Davis retirement
Mark Vader replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes, that was a rough day. The torches & pitchforks came out from many Bills fans saying that McDermott & Beane were in over their heads and both should be fired the following day. How times change. -
Let’s Get it Buffalo by Diggs Himself

Man, that was fun to read. Welcome to Buffalo Stefon Diggs! I'm ready for the season to start NOW! -
Color Rush jerseys, how long?
Mark Vader replied to Bills fan since 87's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I want to see the Bills wear Blue Jerseys with Red Pants, then Red Jerseys with Blue Pants. Try and adjust your tint during that. Might as well go all the way. -

What business did the replacement officials have in going onto the field to discuss this play?

I think Paula's Donuts are good, but there are better places to get donuts. I just don't know who else has better donuts in Buffalo, or the surrounding area. They have very good cinnamon rolls, but their apple fritter was not an apple fritter. Also, there is no more expensive donuts than Krispy Kreme. Their prices are outrageous. And for the record, I picked 1, 3, 8.

Not exactly "new" uniforms, they just realized they made a mistake and went back to their previous look. The only difference is that they kept their giant logo on the helmets.

At least we're not the Falcons
Mark Vader replied to Do The Reich Thing's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The "ATL" looks terrible. Are they really going to wear white jerseys with red pants? The throwback looks great. They should just switch to that permanently, and bring back the old Falcons logo. -
Sure there are no guarantees. I am most interested in seeing how he progresses in the league, and I would love to see him in a Bills uniform.
-
I can understand that. I think he can excel as a slot receiver.
-
That could happen, and I like your suggestion of trading two 2nd rounders for him. Although the Jaguars will exhaust their search for that elusive first round pick from another team. Beane is going to have to put that wizard hat on and summon as many powers from Elysium, Nirvana & The Happy Hunting Grounds as he can.
-
I agree. Which is why I think the Bills don't have that good of a chance of getting Ngakoue, because we don't have a first round pick to trade.
-
I wonder if he would feel that way if he were sent to Cleveland or Detroit?

Buffalo Bills worst draft choices.
Mark Vader replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The problem was that Lynch was one strike away from being suspended for a year. The Bills were in a corner with him and had to find a way out, and that was by drafting Spiller. I hated that we got next to nothing for Lynch, but he's the one who caused it all. -
James Proche, WR, Southern Methodist. I think this guy has very good potential to be a great slot receiver in the NFL. He had back-to-back 1000 yard receiving seasons his junior and senior years, with over 200 receptions combined in those seasons respectively. He also is very good at fighting off defenders. More football speed than track speed, and the guy is an extremely reliable target. Older rookie(24), but that could be an advantage. I could easily see him as a future replacement for Beasley. Most project him going 6th-7th round, I could see him going 4th-5th round. Khaleke Hudson, S, Michigan. Good tackling Safety/Linebacker hybrid that McDermott loves. Had a better junior year than senior year. Covers the field well, and is a good pass rusher. Projections have him from 6th round-UDFA. I could easily see McDermott getting the best from a player like him.

Because Beasley & Brown are in their 30's and only signed for 2 more seasons. This is a rich WR class, and we should take advantage of that, so that we can get the best product on the field. The Bills can have better players than Foster, Williams, McKenzie & Roberts, who could step in and eventually replace Beasley & Brown.
