I get your point, yet I tend to wonder how Bills fans would feel about that. Yes, the playoff drought and all of those 7-9 & 8-8 seasons were a nightmare, but would the fans have been alright with consistently making the playoffs and always being one and done? Probably right about that. What really sucks is that this kills off a bunch of exciting games. Washington-Michigan Oregon-Ohio State Wisconsin-Notre Dame Virginia Tech-Penn State( I believe this was going to be the first ever meeting between the schools) These early non-conference games are a great way to start the season, it's my favorite part of the season, and it's a shame that we won't get to see these games.

Tough to pull off a big match-up like that on short notice.
