  1. I am very curious to see how he does this camp and preseason. This is his 3rd season and as a Safety, he needs to step up. That being said, he's been very good on special teams. Just like Daryl Johnson is.
  2. Not from me. Daryl Johnson has proven that he's a good special teamer. That will be a big consideration when it comes to cut down time. That and McBeane give the players they drafted a lot of chances to make the team.
  3. Yeah, I'm sure that Saban is begging to have any combination of Clemson, Ohio State, Penn State, Texas, Oklahoma, Michigan, USC, Oregon, Wisconsin, & Iowa to play Alabama on a regular yearly basis. Is he also more than willing to have these games at hostile venues and not just the neutral sites as well? Saban can suck it.
  4. I believe that we will carry 7 WR's on the active roster.
  5. Traditionally, Clemson plays a game against Furman every year and early in the season. Furman is another school in South Carolina. So it might just be a situation where the big school and small school in the same state have a deal to do this every year. Furman probably chose not to play Clemson this year, thus South Carolina State steps in. I liken it to how Penn State would always play Temple early in the year. Yes, Temple is a mid-major, but Penn State would always wipe them out. Temple has beaten Penn State just once, I believe? Fair enough. Normally the Big 10 does not schedule 1-AA teams as their "cupcake" opponents and will instead play mid-major schools. There are a lot of games between the Big 10 & Mid-American. This more of an issue with teams in the south, be they from the SEC or ACC. They are notorious for doing this.
  6. That's the way it's always been. The power conference teams always schedule games against weaker opponents early in the season. This is not unique to Clemson. Alabama starts the season against Miami, FL., then in the second week they have a game against Mercer. They also have games against Southern Mississippi & New Mexico State. Ohio State starts off against Minnesota & Oregon, then after that they have games against Tulsa & Akron.
  7. NFL: Carolina wins the NFC South. Resulting in more Panthers becoming Bills in the offseason. Indianapolis wins the AFC South, due to the Titans only offensive weapon being Derrick Henry. After yet another middling season, the honeymoon in Las Vegas ends. Jon Gruden returns to ESPN. Mike Mayock returns to NFL Network. The sports media will stop gushing over Lamar Jackson. Buffalo: Jerry Hughes will lead the Bills defense with 10 sacks. Dawson Knox gets 8 touchdowns. Bills make it to the Super Bowl.
  8. I got a few nailed as well.
  9. Let's go even further and look at the playoff game against the Colts in the 4th quarter. The run defense was horrid. They killed their big lead and allowed the Colts to get back in it. We cannot see anymore of that.
  10. Who is taking his snaps in camp?
  11. I love tradition too. That being said, what is really being broken up here? With Oklahoma & Texas still united, the Red River War will continue. Also, The Bonfire between Texas & Texas A&M will be re-united. Granted, Bedlam(Oklahoma-Oklahoma State) will be broken up, but what other real rivalries are being broken apart?
  12. I'll let you decide that.
  13. Season 3 is even better. This show needs to be picked up.
  14. Of course I did. Let me re-phrase, I have not seen the Bills use Diggs this way CONSTANTLY. Yet the Bills did not use Diggs as a deep threat receiver that much.
  15. Again, I don't doubt that. I just have not seen the Bills use him that way. Maybe that will change.
  16. I don't doubt any of this. Still, I have not seen him run that many deep routes with us. He mostly runs over the middle. Maybe that's how Daboll wants to use him?
  17. I just have not seen Diggs run those types of routes. He mostly goes over the middle. I hope I'm wrong, I would love to see Diggs getting more deep touchdown passes. The one he had in the playoffs against the Colts was fantastic.
  18. I'm sure he would, and we all want to see that. However, Diggs is not a burner. He's a great route runner and he can find a way to get open, I just don't envision him scoring a bunch of 70 yard touchdown passes.
  19. 2 weeks to preseason!
