  1. As of yesterday the rankings are..... 1. Georgia 2. Ohio State 3. Alabama 4. Cincinnati
  2. You're so certain that this has everything to do with the Bills and not the tiniest bit about the Panthers?
  3. Fantastic, @Virgil. Agree with a lot of what you said. Penalties are really hurting us, and that has got to stop. The McKenzie fumble was devastating. Completely agree with you on Moss.
  4. I would be interested in seeing both Ford & Brown on the right side, but I doubt that happens. Thanks for the detailed analysis. While my patience on Ford has been wavering, I do not think he is as terrible as many of the fans think he is. His play to me has been so-so, not great, but I am willing to see him get another chance, unlike Jon Feliciano. To me the biggest shock has been Daryl Williams. He was such a solid Tackle last year, now he looks like a completely different player, in a bad way.
  5. That's what you've got? Glad to know that you take this seriously.
  6. For the last 2 weeks all of our running backs have been on the active roster, and we have used all of them in our running game, sans Taiwan Jones. Our running game for the most part has been abysmal. Yet there are times when it has been helpful. Whether it's the O-Line problems or the play calling or both, the Bills have got to find a way to utilize it more and have it work better for us. We cannot rely only on Josh Allen to pass and run ourselves to victory. Here's my observation of our running backs..... Devin Singletary. Motor has had his moments this year. I'm actually surprised at how good his yards per carry average is. Which makes me wonder why he doesn't get the ball more often. I understand we go with the RB rotation, but at some point you have to go with the player that is doing the best. Singletary is also a pretty good receiver as well. His biggest problem, is that he has too many fumbles, and when he does that, he gets benched. I understand that, but at this point in the season, I don't see how we can afford to not have him on the field getting more and more carries. Zack Moss. I was hoping that Moss would be able to step up and be more than a short yardage back, but he has not done that. He does have some touchdowns and he does make a few big plays, but he is very inconsistent. He does not have the fumbling problems that Singletary has, but his lack of quickness and burst is a major issue. Surprisingly he's a decent receiver. Although I don't quite understand why we line him up as a deep wideout so often. In my opinion, Moss has done little to justify getting many snaps, and I would rather see Singletary get more playing time. Matt Breida. These past two games have me wondering, why Breida has been inactive this whole time? I'm not saying Breida should be the starter, but we cannot have him be inactive all the time. A good change of pace runner and a good receiving threat, Breida has shown that he can be a very affective weapon for us. We need to play this guy a lot more. Reggie Gilliam. I was not too thrilled with keeping Gilliam on the roster, because I did not see why we needed a Fullback. I see his value as a blocker, and lining up as an extra Tight End, but that's about it. He caught a pass yesterday, but is this the player we want to use as a receiver? I really think that we need to use Singletary more and more. Fumbles aside, he has been our bets runner. Moss is just not getting it done and should only be used to give Singletary a breather or obvious short yardage situations. Matt Breida has got to play. He should be the running back lining up as an extra receiver when we go 5 wide, not Moss & Gilliam. Share you thoughts on this, and please keep it realistic. I don't want this thread to turn into a bunch of "we should have drafted this player" comments. Stay focused on the reality of who we have on the roster and what we can do to get better.
  7. Classic BBFS. The drought lasted a long time, and many Bills fans expect it to come back any day now.
  8. Also seeing these big upsets from teams that are doing it as a road team.
  9. One can hope. They did beat Oregon.
  10. Heading to my Bills Bar. Let's watch this team go out there and play their game. They showed how to come back from a terrible loss, now they can show that they are for real. GO BILLS!!!
  11. Stomp them? No. I do think the Bills will win today.
  12. Not surprised that the Utes won, they are a good team. Just did not expect that outcome.
  13. Sorry for posting this so late.....damn internet connection! Sparty & Ducks taken to the woodshed today. That's it for the Pac-12's only hope. Crimson Tide had a tough one with the Razorbacks. Bearcats get a much needed dominant win. There is no reason now for Cincinnati to not be in the top 4 playoff rankings. All eyes will be focused on Ann Arbor & Auburn next week. Hopefully Stanford can rise up and end the Notre Dame hype.
  14. That's how it was when I was there. Very quick.
  15. Sounds good to me
  16. How about Cornell Green?
  17. Nobody cares about hockey. Everyone cares about football. The NFL doesn't really care about this either. Case in point: The Tennessee Titans of last year.
  18. Keep them. Nice to have a little color.
  19. Yes, and he was playing on the left side. If it's not Doyle then go with Bates. I don't want to see Williams at tackle again.
  20. Not a bad idea. Williams has looked far better at RG than at RT.
  21. Thanks for the write up @Marv's Neighbor. I've always enjoyed this story. One thing I've always been curious about, was the "Heidi" movie the Shirley Temple version?
  22. During that last sequence, I was afraid that Spencer Brown was going to crush McDermott. He looks like he's 9 feet tall compared to the coach.
  23. My parents took me and my sister to see Donny & Marie Osmond at the Center for Performing Arts in San Jose. I think it was in 1980.
