As for the topic at hand, and I know I've posted this before, but my grandfather was on the USS Pennsylvania that day, and he survived. I was never close to him unfortunately, but I cannot imagine what he went through on that horrible day. May he and those who were there rest in peace.

Phillips was very good last night and he deserves credit for it. I also liked how Groot played last night as well. He's a much better run defender than I thought he would be.

I would feel the same way I felt when Michigan had to share the National Title with Nebraska in 1997. Happy and nonplussed.

No, I hate them for their cheating ways and for everyone willing to look away and get away with it. Then praise them as if they have never done anything wrong. I hate their obnoxious bandwagon fanbase, whom I can guarantee you know nothing about the history of the Patriots*. Just ask them who Andre Tipett and Irving Fryar & Stanley Morgan are, and you'll get blank stares. I hate Tom Brady, because he is the biggest whiner in the history of the NFL, and I'm a Michigan fan. I knew about Brady long before most of these "fans" did. Rob Gronkowski & Julian Edelman are all ***** and deserve all the bad karma in the world. Every championship, and statistic associated with Belichick's tenure should have asterisk marks next to every player.

For me it's hatred, not jealousy.

Zack Moss had no business running the ball on 1st & 2nd down in long yardage situations. Yes, Breida's fumble was awful, but Moss has done next to nothing all year for us. Breida & Singletary should still be getting the bulk of the carries.

And if the Bills win tonight? -
You're not going to the Cotton Bowl Classic?

But it could be ruined by the officials for no reason at all That paranoia is justified, when it comes to officials. All goes back to....."Just give it to 'em."

After starting the season unranked, the Wolverines are now one of the top teams in the country. There was no hangover, no letdown from last week, tonight they went out and got it done tonight and they have earned the right to be in the College Football Playoff GO BLUE!!!!!

Patriots at Bills: Game Week Thread (v2)
Mark Vader replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
I remember during the drought everyone said that if the Bills could get homefield advantage throughout the playoffs, that it would be a great thing, and one of the best parts about it would be the weather. -

Defensive turnovers/endzone celebrations
Mark Vader replied to I'm Spartacus's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes! To me this is far more ridiculous than the turnover celebrations. Oh great, you made a tackle. You did what you were supposed to do. What do you want a 5 year $100 million contract for that? Get back in the damn huddle! -
I don't count conference games, because that's who teams primarily face all the time. As for Tennessee, they've been improving for the last 10-15 years. I'll believe it when I see the Volunteers win a real big game. Also, I have said numerous times that the SEC is the premiere conference in college football, and I still say that. I just roll my eyes when a team like Alabama has a game scheduled against Austin Peay in November. To be fair, Alabama is not the only school that does this. There are a few schools in the SEC that do this exact same thing. We saw both Florida and Georgia play cupcakes in November this year. Why, I don't know. Overall, Alabama does have a tough schedule, and it's not their fault that the other SEC teams are unable to compete with them as much. I like to focus on the Non-Conference games, because it shows me that a team does not duck tough opponents. Which is why I like that Alabama plays Texas next year. I dislike that both Louisiana-Monroe & Austin Peay are there, when Utah State is already on the list. That's three layups, and I think that two is enough, especially when the season has started. Just my opinion. Finally @Bill from NYC & @ArdmoreRyno, the Crimson Tide & Cowboys face each other in 2028 & 2029. 28 in Stillwater, 29 in Tuscaloosa. You two can settle your differences then.

My sister smoked cigarettes for over 20 years. One day she got a severe ear infection, although it was more than that. She had dizziness and nausea. The thought of smoking made her sick. After she saw a doctor, they were able to help her with the infection, and she was fine. Since that time, she has never smoked a cigarette. Never had the urge to again.

I didn't list this game, because Notre Dame & USC play each other all the time. Still that does make it more intriguing. If Riley can turn the Trojans around that fast. Good, now let's talk about Alabama's schedule in 2022. They play Texas in Austin, that should be fun. But the rest.....Utah State?.....Louisiana-Monroe?.....Austin Peay?! To be fair, I'm not thrilled with Michigan's non-conference opponents next year. Colorado State, Hawaii & Connecticut.
