  1. Michigan suspended Howard for the remainder of the regular season.
  2. Exactly. Terrible for Howard going that far and he deserves to be punished. Fired? Not so sure about that. It's not like he was out there looking to get into a fight. Gard holds a lot of responsibility in this mess too. Whatever was said, we may never know. It did not need to happen like this.
  3. Could turn out that way. I do think they will get 3-4 Sunday late afternoon games too.
  4. These sound like the players that we have a more realistic chance of picking. I'd be very happy with Jahan Dotson.
  5. Have you been there since they added California Adventure? The place is a resort and it's very nice. I remember when Anaheim looked slummy outside Disneyland, it isn't that way anymore.
  6. Not yet, but eventually.
  7. I understand that the Commanders defensive line is loaded, but Young would be a lot for them to part with. For argument's sake, if the Bills were to pull this type of trade off, they would also have to pay him top dollar. Can the Bills do that?
  8. Disneyland is different. Might have been different for you, had you gone there as a kid.
  9. I don't know if he ever made it to the active roster. Remember him mostly from his time with Florida State. So tragic. RIP and may God bless his family.
  10. This happened at Disneyland a couple of years ago...
  11. Looking at the color of the Stars uniforms, Hulk Hogan should be their mascot.
  12. We are in full blown offseason mode on this board.
  13. Season Opener: @ Miami Home Opener: Cleveland Prime Time: @ Cincinnati (Sunday), @ Los Angeles (Sunday), Vs. Tennessee (Monday) I also agree that the Kansas City game will be a Sunday Late Afternoon game. Same goes for the Baltimore game and one of the New England games.
  14. Bandits look good. Maulers look like the Frankfurt Galaxy. Not appealing. Stallions look like Florida State.
  15. Best commercials: Anna Kendrick with Barbie house, but Castle Greyskull, He-Man & Skeletor helped make it the best. Eugene Levy with Nissan. Budweiser Clydesdale. NFL Charity. The Doritos animal commercial seemed like a take off from the Budweiser frogs, unfortunately it fell flat. Larry David was nothing special, and yes I get the humor, still boring. Paul Rudd & Seth Rogen was lame, as was the Dr. Evil commercial. The Sopranos themed commercial was okay. Amazon with Scarlett Johannsen was meh. Zeus electric car commercial was strange. Overall takeaway.....Buy an electric automobile, invest in cryptocurrency and cameras are racist.
  16. Absolutely not. I love the game of football. I will watch college football from sun up to sundown, and I will do the same with NFL football. Although I don't go out of my way to watch Thursday night football. I agree with several other posters here when they say it was different when I was a kid. The anticipation and build-up for every weekend was thrilling, and what was going to happen on Monday night. Unlike the other team sports, where you could watch them all the time, with football, you had to wait all week to see the next games. It was fun. It still is fun, yet as I've gotten older I am not as savvy as I used to be. Yet I still have fun watching the games and have just as much fun going to the games. Now I will admit that there are things that have been going on lately that do turn me off. The over officiating. The pussification of quarterbacks. Players celebrating after they make a tackle. Unbearable studio analysts who think they are funny. The political and social justice crap that the NFL force feeds us. All of that has taken a toll on the game. I will continue to watch, because I still love the game of football. It's entertaining and fun, and that's what it's all about.
  17. And to Tyler Bass
  18. I'm confident in our team to avoid such circumstances from happening.
  19. When I was at last years draft and the Bengals pick had been made, I walked over to a group of Bengals fans and I asked them why aren't you getting a player who can protect your QB instead of getting another offensive weapon? They were just as puzzled as I was, even though they did like Jamarr Chase.
  20. Are you sure you're not confusing them with Patriots*/Brady fans?
  21. Fair enough. I still stand by the fact that we have a front office of people who are shrewd at making moves when it comes to the salary cap. Some teams are better at it than others.
  22. Yet the Cowboys constantly got a bunch of Week 1 Sunday night games even when they weren't real playoff contenders. Cowboys fans are everywhere, and they get good television ratings.
  23. I don't think that the salary cap means nothing, but I do subscribe to the idea that it is a myth. Over the years we have seen teams get into "salary cap hell", and then all of a sudden they are fine, and they are able to still sign players. Now you need the right people in your front office who are experts at manipulating the cap, and know how to structure contracts, and fortunately we have that type of front office. Last year's reduction of the cap hurt the Bills, and that was beyond our control, which is why we have very little cap room right now, but I believe that will change. Also, if you look at the big picture, the Bills are currently projected to be over $60 million under the cap in 2023, and that's with the first year of Josh Allen's big contract. Money is not that big of an issue for the Bills going forward.
  24. This is similar to the Buccaneers when they won their first Super Bowl.
