These guys get worked up quicker than Michael Jackson at a Chucy Cheese Party: Muslim World Enraged By Pope's Speech Turkey Officials Compare Benedict XVI To Hitler Pakistan's legislature unanimously condemned Pope Benedict XVI. Lebanon's top Shiite cleric demanded an apology. And in Turkey, the ruling party likened the pontiff to Hitler and Mussolini and accused him of reviving the mentality of the Crusades. Across the Islamic world Friday, Benedict's remarks on Islam and jihad in a speech in Germany unleashed a torrent of rage that many fear could burst into violent protests like those that followed publication of caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad. ... http://www.wral.com/education/9839832/detail.html Carol Joan McVey, 49, was charged with resisting arrest, trespassing, disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace. Police said McVey became upset when she heard some students at Gaithersburg High School, who were being assisted by another teacher, practicing a speech and using some Arabic words. The Washington Post said she reacted after overhearing the group utter an Islamic greeting of peace. Charging documents allege McVey shouted, "Islam doesn't mean peace, it means killing everyone for peace" and "Because of you, our families died in New York!" It's not known if anyone who heard the remarks is Muslim. Authorities said McVey went to the school office to express her displeasure about the speech and the assisting teacher and was told by the principal that her services were no longer needed at the school. Police said she refused to leave and was escorted from the school by the educational facilities officer. While being escorted from the building, McVey allegedly yelled at a Hispanic teacher about the inappropriateness of speaking to students in languages other than English. Once the substitute teacher was outside, police said she allegedly tried to re-enter the school and the school's educational facilities officer attempted to place her under arrest, but she resisted and an additional officer was called to assis

Didn't he land on his head in a game at Houston too? I think it was 1989. It went to over time and the Bills won something like 48-43....

Holy Hell! I am in love with that Archer girl! Hope she won that night!

Isn't that Pats biggest weakness on Defense their secondary? Last year people threw all over them. I would attack them with a lot of 4 receiver sets.

DirectTV offers a channel that shows all the NFL games week after they are played with all the junk edited out. Just the plays. You can watch a game in hour! Plus, they have a new channel that shows 8 games at once live! Hello Divorce Court! -
I watched him play a lot in person at UNC. He was a man among boys most of the time, except when they played Florida State. I'd love to hear Chris Berman say "Sam "Clay" Aiken" when doing highlights.

When is the last time you saw Willis lay the smack down like that? I am pulling for "G-Spot" Gates to get a lot of touches this year.
-
No, I had a Willis throwback jersey, and my buddy had blue bills cap on with blue bills -t-shirt

Yeah I forgot that rookies in the secondary looked good, as well as King. The crowd had a lot of fun with "Yo-booties" name. The D-line, after the first series, looked good against the run. Good Speed.

Sorry its a little late, but kids will do that to you. We sat at the 45 yards line, 10 rows back behind the Bills bench. We sat by Nate Clement's cousins, and Fowler's dad and brother. Nate's cousins says he loves the fans in Buffalo, but is getting tired of losing. Melvin Fowler's dad (a LARGE Man in his own right) says Melvin is super excited to be the starting center, and so far LOVES the coaching staff in Buffalo. Said Melvin hopes not to disappoint the fans in Buffalo. Gates is the real deal. We saw a couple runs were he crushed the Panthers trying to tackle him. One cornerback left holding his arm. He rush HARD, with good speed and vision. Love this kid, and hope he sees a lot of touches this year. Josh Stamer is one cut up dude. He plays hard and seemed to be a leader at the sidelines. A lot of other players were coming up to him to ask for advice. Seemed to take TKO's role. I really like JP's attitude. After the game ended, only Bills fans stayed in the stadium to cheer on their team. He yelled to JP, and said he is our future. He looked over with a big smile and waved to us. I might be reading a lot into but I think it meant a lot to him to see the support away from home. Panther are a machine on both sides of the ball. Jake is now general out there with offense. Wait till they get Steve Smith back. Scary. Dan Morgan is their TKO. He was up and down the sidelines giving advice and encourage. I know the Bills line looked bad, but the Panther front seven is one of the best in the NFL. They whole team looked there were on mission, even in warm ups. Any how, let's see JP with the starters next game and hope for the best. Lee Evens was open twice when Holcomb was out there, but it was deep down field, so noodle arm wouldn't even try it.

Tailgating in Charlotte next Saturday?
pdh1 replied to Catholic Guilt's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yep that is correct. I was at a Panthers' game when a soccer mom on her cell phone complained that someone was "scarring the kids". The guy was three rows over. He just had his shirt off and was yelling. Nothing dirty. Just supporting his team. The security folks came over and told him to settle down or he would get kicked out. They also don't let you hang any "negitive signs" in the stadium. Even if they don't use any foul words. The first time they played the cowboys in the playoffs (1996?) there were some great Michael Irving signs. They were all removed before kick-off. Any how, look for us with our throwback Bills jerseys, at the 45 yard line, 8 rows behind the Bills Bench. WhooHOO! -
Iran's plot to mine uranium in Africa
pdh1 replied to Tux of Borg's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
No, it because: We are are not hard core Muslims Our country is not founded on Islamic Law. Women. and gasp, Jews, can hold office and vote. This past year we have seen attacks by Islamic Terrorists in India, The Philippines, Indonesia, Sudan, Somalia, Bangladesh, etc... Not exactly members of the Coalition forces in Iraq. Major plots were stopped against Canada, Italy, Spain, and Demark. Not exactly warmongering nations -

Your right, the Mullahs in Iran are just peace loving lambs who are being bullied by the big bad US. How did their "conference" to look at "scientific evidence" to determine if the holocaust actually happened turn out? Were you there? -

Yeah, I sure everyone in the US and British governments are hoping a for larger conflict with a nuclear armed Iran. Yeah, OK. -
Yeah, people have to make up all the stories about Islamic groups being violent and hateful. If it weren't for these made up stories from the US and British governments, you wouldn't hear any thing about them killing people.. Hey where is all the oil in India any how? http://www.indiadaily.com/editorial/11065.asp http://www.cnn.com/2006/WORLD/africa/07/05...p.ap/index.html http://www.cnn.com/2006/WORLD/meast/04/24/...asts/index.html

The Jihad Johnies that were caught after the bombings on 7/11 said the considered themselves Muslim, not British. Interesting Point: How does going after terrorists who claim to do it in the name of Islam be perceived by the majority of Muslims worldwide as "War against Islam"?? That would be like saying the US is at war with Christians because they went after abortion clinic bombers.
