  1. Has there been an interview with Takeo AFTER the initial one, where he was PO'd?
  2. Pretty much. But at least Dallas tried to keep their team together. The Pats seem intent on either having the lowest payroll possible, or proving that they can replace anyone and still win SB's. I hope they keep it up!
  3. I'm talking winning SB's. You'll realize it about the same time Dallas fans did.
  4. Well now I KNOW it's over for the Pats, because Brady's making excuses. Brady faced this back in 2003 with Milloy. And that move happened WITHOUT warning. Branch hadn't practiced all pre-season and the trade happened AFTER the game, so it's 100% BS. And I'm sure he's feeling like a sucker now, taking less to re-sign with the team, and thinking that the money he gave-up was going to go to keep players around. If I were him, I'd start thinking about that next round of contract talks, because you KNOW the Pats will start doing the same things to him, especially if Cassel proves to be any good.
  5. Sure it would have been different. But for some reason, the Bills have ALWAYS been getting screwed when they play at the Pats, at least since 1998 and the infamous "just give it to 'em" game. It's nauseating.
  6. No they won't. They'll never revisit their comments, like they do most of their wrong comments and predictions.
  7. Too true. In any case, I think the Bills will be in the market for upgrades on the O-line after the season.
  8. It actually is more than 4 rookies starting, if you consider that Whitner, Simpson, and Ellison will be playing most of the time, and Williams and McCargo will be rotating on the DL (I'd assume they'll be taking turns rotating, i.e. being paired with a veteran and not together too much, although that did happen a few times last Sunday). I would assume that Ellison will continue at WLB, where Crowell WAS starting, and that Crowell will continue to play SLB until Takeo returns.
  9. Didn't I read that Vincent met with the coaches today and they ALL agreed that it was in the best interest of the team for him to go on IR?
  10. I was, thanks. Sounds like Troy isn't pissed about the move. Which is good.
  11. I said from the beginning that Vincent should have been let-go and Simpson made the starter, since the Bills weren't expected to contend for the playoffs this year. And after watching him play against the Pats after getting the backup share of snaps in practice, I'm fully on-board with him taking over the starting job.
  12. What they miss more is Roaf and Welbourn, and a younger Will Shields.
  13. Yeah, I'd take Seymour over most anyone.
  14. Draw play. Possibly catch them going all-out on a blitz and at worst don't lose a ton of yardage, much less get a safety.
  15. We'll get a better sense this weekend. It could just be that the interior of Mankins, Koppen, and Neal is pretty good.
  16. Not "great," just better. And Whitner will only get better. Wire is pretty much as good as he's gonna get. Are you saying you'd rather have Wire starting again?
  17. Just to get back to the original topic, and not to defend TD too much, but Robert Gallery was considered by EVERYONE to be a "can't miss" prospect. So is it the fault of the Raiders, Gallery, or both? And the same goes for Grove, who looks like crap as well.
  18. Well that's what was said on NFL Live. I don't know if they had better camera angles, i.e. to see if Willis' knee really DID touch down (and didn't appear to) or what. And considering it's from ESPN, a station that likes to bash the Bills and salute the Pats, that's saying something for them to make that statement without any proof. In any case, I'm thinking that for future short yardage situations, A-Train should be the guy. Or how about a QB sneak?
  19. Yeah, I knew what you were thinking. As for Reyes, I didn't have a problem with him, or the rest of the O-line for the first 2-1/2 quarters. And the Pats' D-line IS pretty good. I just wonder if it was conditioning at all?
  20. On NFL Live last night, they said that the spot they gave Willis on that 4th and 1 was horrible and that it was a 1st down.
  21. Villarrial is "everyone(s) favorite single digit IQ player?!"
  22. Weren't they whining about the whole Milloy thing a few years ago? I love the egotism. It's like players should be paying THEM to play for them. I hope they keep it up and lose more good players.
  23. 1. I think the injury affected Willis. I don't know if he got hurt because of the cheap shot he took from Harrison. 2. Couldn't tell you. 2 (?). Shelton. 3. WR's should know where the sticks are and get beyond them. 4. Schobel was being blatantly held by Light.
