  1. Yeah, it was the right call. Reed engaged the defender before the pass got to Parrish, and it wasn't a backwards pass in any case. They also blew the fumble on Welker in the first half, but it was successfully challenged by the Dols.
  2. I didn't hear anything about learning issues. It was a hamstring problem that sidelined him for a good portion of training camp and the pre-season, and then the family thing which knocked him out for the rest.
  3. As long as he's on ST's, I don't care.
  4. The O-line looks marginally better than last year.
  5. I guess it's warranted when it goes AGAINST Buffalo.
  6. Nutty broads are great, until they take their clothes off. Who wants a broad with nuts?
  7. More like Drew is watching his back.
  8. Good point on Fletcher. Then again, maybe he's not trying to cause waves since he's looking for a nice fat contract extension.
  9. I agree. Shut up, stretch more, and help out the younger guys. Then get back on the field to help prevent a rebuilding year.
  10. Don't you mean you COULDN'T care less?
  11. I don't disagree about DiGiorgio, although I won't write-him-off until he sees meaningful playing time. As for Ellison, getting thrown in the fire like that without starter's reps and being a ROOKIE was impressive. It's hard for rookies to avoid be totall undressed, much less put in a good showing. Of course there's more development that needs to be done, but you could say that for most players.
  12. Based on...the oodles of gamefilm on him?
  13. I'm thinking Thomas for short yardage.
  14. Glad to hear it.
  15. Stunned and saddened.
  16. Or post on message boards.
  17. You can't spell Ann Coulter without a certain 4 letters.
  18. The Patriots have THE most confusing defense there is, especially for a young QB. The fact that JP was able to throw for 65.2% (or 66.7% if you count plays taken-away by penalty, in which JP was 1-1) under such conditions and do things like convert that 3rd down to Price (only to have it negated by a block in the back call) showed me that he's MILES ahead of where he was last year (when he threw for 37% against a depleted Pats' defense).
  19. Haggan was most certainly yanked. Ellison was inserted at WLB, where he's the backsup, and Crowell was moved to SLB to takeover for Spikes after Haggan looked like crap (might be time to re-sign Wendell Hunter). If Spikes can't go this weekend, look for the same lineup.
  20. For a rookie 6th round pick who was a longshot to make the team, wasn't getting the majority of snaps in practice the week before the game, and came off the bench, Ellison did a great job. I'd like to see what he can do with a game under his belt and full week with starter's reps.
  21. Yeah, but then on the NESN, he'll be trashing them. He's mostly right, though.
  22. Tennessee has one of the best lines?
  23. Maybe NOT throwing 8 times when you have 1 quarter to go and a 20-point lead is the way to prevent Chambers from having a career day? I don't know, just asking.
