  1. I'll give them credit for winning fair and square. But the Bills lost this game. That's taking nothing away from the Jets who did what they had to do. All it would have taken IMHO is Willis blocking Rhodes on that play.
  2. I thought the Pats would whip-up on the Broncos. But I also thought they'd get smoked on the road against good teams, as will the entire AFC East, and tonight just confirms that to me. The division sucks.
  3. Bledsoe as well.
  4. You could ask "where was x" today and fill up several pages of a new thread. Well except for Lindell and McGahee when it came to running the ball on non-short yardage plays.
  5. I wonder how many Bills fans sold tix to Jets fans today?
  6. JP's mistakes were not solely his fault. And it's not like others didn't make costly mistakes as well, including the coaching staff.
  7. McGee got his arse handed to him by Coles. Tell me who DID show up on defense today?
  8. The Jets came to play today, the Bills didn't. Which is sad because it was at home. Congrats on the win. Hopefully the Bills can return the favor later-on.
  9. Shhhh. I agree that finding ONE scapegoat is a lot simpler.
  10. And outside of Lindell, WHERE were the ST's?
  11. You mean like that season-ender last year?
  12. The first one, yes, but Brady did the same thing last week. The second one was on Willis. The INT was because JP's arm got hit as he threw, thanks to constant pressure on him all day. Contrast that with the Bills' defense that couldn't get to Pennington, despite having 2 rookies starting on their O-line, and it was pretty much a total team failure. JP deserves some blame, but almost no one was without fault today.
  13. Anyone who blames the refs OR JP today has his/her heads up his/her ass.
  14. Where? On the play that Willis whiffed on the block on the guy who blitzed? Gotta put the blame where it belongs.
  15. Yeah and a GREAT effort by everyone else except Lindell.
  16. Willis helps ruin his otherwise career day with a HUGE whiff that led to the sack, fumble, and return for a TD. Unreal.
  17. Actually, they don't.
  18. The 3rd QB can't play until the 4th quarter without knocking the top 2 QB's out for the remainder of the game.
  19. What other changes have you seen? Edit: I just did the Jets, and replacing Kendall with Katnick, it lowers their starting age to 26.16 and gives them 3 starters over 30. Whaddya got for the Pats?
  20. Sure they have the offense for it. They have speedsters in Evans and Price and JP who can air it out with the best of 'em. That being said, I see the Bills again relying on the ground game and efficiency from JP. Save the fireworks for another game.
  21. According to an article in today's Dallas Morning Snooze, the Texans have the youngest starting lineup, followed by the Jets, and the Bills are 11th. However that was based on OPENING DAY rosters, which for the Bills included Vincent and Wire, who are not starting anymore due to injury and ineffectiveness respectively, and Spikes who is currently nursing a hammy injury. With the CURRENT starting lineup, the average age for the Bills is 26.04, which would make them the youngest, with 2 starters over 30 years old, which is also the least in the NFL. If/When Spikes returns, the average age increases to 26.36, which ties them with the Texans, but they'll still have just 2 starters over 30. Another change I see coming is Preston replacing Villy sooner rather than later, which lowers the average age to 25.95 with Spikes back in the lineup, and 25.63 without him. Cool! http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dw...in.2d39c8b.html
  22. It's both utter AND literal nonsense? The Bills spent a 1st rounder on OL in 1992, 1995, and 2002. That's 2 picks a decade spent in the 1st round on the O-line. Next year will make it 5 years from when they last took an OL in the 1st. Do the math. If the O-line isn't addressed in FA, I expect the draft to be the next route. However after what happened with Williams, I'd rather go after a proven OL in FA. Don't care about them. The Bills will have Peters moving to LT. If I had an UFA sheet on OL, I could give you an idea. But I do NOT want to pay an OG $50M. No thanks. However I DO know that Dan Koppen of the Pats will be an UFA. Might be worth a look, depending on how he does this year. Doubtful. But that doesn't mean it's not worth trying. As mud.
