  1. Plus 1 or minus 1, it doesn't matter. The Bills get 3 points just for being at home, so whether they're favored by 1 or the dogs by 1, the bettors think that the Vikes are a better team. For what that's worth.
  2. So you're of the opinion that if the team lost, it was all the QB's fault? I saw the game and on his 2nd fumble, Willis whiffed on a block that he SHOULD make routinely. And the INT was a result of getting hit as he threw the ball, not being able to step into the throw, and the wind. It's not like he was standing back there for 5 seconds on each fumble or the INT and forced it into coverage.
  3. Fine with me. Although I wish we were bigger dogs.
  4. IndyJay: He had a good game AND a good press conference. Happy?
  5. Again, the 2nd fumble was on Willis and the INT was because he got hit as he was throwing and he also couldn't step-into the throw because of pressure in his face. Randy Cross, who usually goes OUT of his way to bash the Bills (and who was the opposite for most of the game surprisingly), said as much. The wind did the rest.
  6. Opinions are like...oh well, you know.
  7. I agree. I say spend like crazy over the off-season on the O-line and WATCHOUT!
  8. It's easy to say in hindsight he should have thrown the ball away on the first sack. He barely had time and NO ONE picked it up.
  9. The coaching played a part, but the execution of plays left something to be desired. Price dropped a perfectly thrown TD pass early in the game (I think on the botched fake FG drive). Willis whiffed on the block on Rhodes that led to the TD, which was the turning point of the game. And on at least 2 plays I saw, had the Bills defender played the ball and NOT the player, they would have gotten 2 easy INT's.
  10. I missed it. What did they do?
  11. We know you don't like JP Bill, but he was actually one of the few bright spots. After thinking about the game overnight, sure the first fumble is on him, but the 2nd is on Willis and the INT was a result of getting hit and not being able to step into his throw. And yes he might have thrown a few too hard. You DO realize that there were 35 MPH winds, right? But this would have been a different game had Price caught that sure-TD early in the game, or if Willis makes that block like he SHOULD have done. And you yourself have said that the Bills need a better O-line. So which is it?
  12. And they lost Trevor Pryce over the off-season, Lang had a "mini-concussion," and Al Wilson missed a good amount of time.
  13. Crap. I know some people say that football should be played in the elements, but I just HATE bad weather games. Cold is fine, but precipitation injects too much luck into things.
  14. Yep. Let's get Takeo and Bowen back.
  15. If Peerless catches that pass, it's a 40-yard TD. If Willis makes that block on Rhodes, it's likely a different outcome.
  16. And the solution would be...Nall? Holcomb again? A rookie QB, none of whom have played much, much less won? The fact is that the O-line is still not where it needs to be, and this young team is making too many mistakes. Having a quick trigger on pulling JP is NOT the answer, considering there are no solutions on the bench.
  17. Shows you what a good O-line will do for you.
  18. I wish JP had Rypien's O-line from that 1991 SB season. Whao mama!
  19. And if you can believe it, Shanahan has a better winning percentage with Plummer than Elway. But not the SB rings.
  20. Because their reak kicker is in Indy now.
  21. It didn't sound like it. And there were other players/people as well.
  22. So he tossed the ball away in less than 2 seconds while in the pocket and didn't get an IG call? Okay. I'll take your word for it. Too bad the Bills' defense wasn't playing like the Broncos is.
  23. Willis has whiffed on MORE than a few blitz pickups. And bully for Plummer that he got rid of the ball. I guess that means at least one of his WR's was OPEN on those plays.
