  1. Bowen wouldn't replace Simpson; he'd replace Wire in 3 safety sets. Hopefully next weekend.
  2. Making the jump from Div-II to the NFL is a huge jump. Not saying he can't make it, just that expecting him to as a rookie is asking a lot. And by "playing" I mean more than on ST's.
  3. I don't. The kid is an undrafted rookie from a Div-II school. While he may have potential, I wouldn't want to see him play in a game this year.
  4. I wanted the Bills to trade down and take Levi Jones. The problem is that NO ONE wanted to trade into the 4th spot. Can you imagine if TD took Jones at that spot?
  5. Yeah, his salary for this year is $600K. Very cheap for a 7th year player. As for his ST's abilities, my Lindy's said he USED to be the best ST's player on the team. But he's got the experience that "It's not delivery" lacks, and he can easily be placed on the PS.
  6. Brees showed little prior to the 2004 season, which is why SD drafted Rivers. It was only during the 2004 season that he showed he could be a top-flight QB (of course having Tomlinson, Gates, and a good O-line helps). His games prior to that were marked with inconsistency and had Rivers come into camp on-time, he likely would have been given the starting nod. And I can't understand why people still think JP is a question mark? The Bills were in EVERY game this year, and if not for mistakes made ALL-AROUND, the Bills would be undefeated. That's all you can ask of a young QB, especially one with only 8 starts and 2 seasons under his belt (at the start of this season).
  7. Wrong. Look at the Miami game last year. Or the KC game.
  8. I'd rather be lied to obviously and poorly than the opposite. One will get you the earth-shattering revelation of a blowjob. The other will get you a modern-day Vietnam. [/PPP]
  9. That Elway kid. I think he's gonna do something in the pros. BTW, who is the idiot that called TO with 8 seconds left?
  10. Well, you know what they say about guys with no wisdom teeth. Good luck on the new job.
  11. HGH is legal in GB?
  12. I think Smerlas is a two-faced jerk, but he was actually complimentary towards JP at the beginning of the interview. Where he lost it is refusing to acknowledge that JP was set-back in his development by the broken leg and a horrible coaching staff. Now maybe if he were healthy and had say, Charlie Weis coaching him, it would be a different story. And in a similar vein, he's using the Tom Brady angle, i.e. a QB who "won" the SB in his 2nd year. However unlike with JP, the Bills' defense is nowhere NEAR the Pats' defense from that or any of the other SB years. If they did, the team would be 3-0 right now.
  13. Lame, but it counts. Which is why they'll be moving eventually.
  14. Sold-out: http://www.billsdaily.com/news/index.shtml#092806
  15. Probably HGH.
  16. Shoulda gone to bump and run. And blitzed more.
  17. I never played in the NFL. I say Millen sucks. So much for former players automatically being able to judge NFL talent.
  18. As was said earlier, IF JP was locking-onto WR's he would have been intercepted much more than he was, which was on a play where he got hit as he released the ball. The pass distribution is another clue.
  19. That INT was because he got hit and couldn't step into his throw because of pressure in his face, and the wind doing the rest.
  20. The solution? Raise ticket prices so that fans don't have as much money to buy beer.
  21. All I gotta say is, keep on "locking-on" to your primary receiver JP! And don't let Willis block a blitzer for you again.
  22. Warner would still be putting up huge numbers today if he didn't get injured and play poorly for those 2 years, which sealed his fate in STL. It's no surprise that Bulger has been thriving in that offense since Warner left.
  23. I'm curious to see how Leinart does. Methinks it's not so much Warner as it is the O-line. I mean, just look at James' stats.
