  1. Nah. They should play for the #1 overall pick next year. The fact is that Culpepper won't be 100% this season and Harrington is a scrub. Might as well shelve Culpepper, get some good draft picks, sign some FA's, and retool for next year.
  2. So the officiating was pretty bad?
  3. After trailing for the entire game, they tie it up with 15 seconds to go! Way to salvage at least a point guys and good luck in OT.
  4. It's easier to have a higher YPC average when your O-line never gets called for holding.
  5. I considered it...for a millisecond. But the answer is obviously no.

  7. It's possible that Culpepper may improve. But he's a turnover machine, with an average of 2 per game (1 fumble and 1 INT), and a sack magnet, taking almost 3 sacks a game over the course of his career. Beyond that, the biggest knock against him was poor decision-making, especially in big games. Add in the injury and the chances he improves are slim to none, especially if Baloney Mularkey remains his OC.
  8. What? It's the playoffs already?
  9. Well you can't predict stuff like this. I mean a lot of us were hot after LeCharles Bentley, but he tored his patella tendon. Would that have happened in Buffalo? Who knows, but sometimes you get lucky with the moves you DON'T make.
  10. That's pretty nice 20/20 hindsight there. The fact is that Simon was likely hiding the problem from the Colts and has been suffering from this for years now. And since he's collected $13M in bonus from them plus $545K last year in base salary, I'd say that they SHOULDN'T have to pay him.
  11. Illegal downloading is hurting ALL artists. And while you could record someone's CD, it took a lot more effort than pointing and clicking to get a file.
  12. Convenient excuse to bench Culpepper. It's probably nothing more than any QB experiences after a game.
  13. Royal practiced today. And Bowen has a broken bone in his lower right leg.
  14. I meant it in a good way. I want my QB to have a swagger and I also want him to basically tell a reporter that he's an idiot without actually coming OUT and saying it.
  15. You actually watched it?
  16. I don't remember that thread. I thought you were talking about the thread after he was drafted where it was brought up. And to ban a guy from football for life for a cheapshot that didn't even injured the guy is pretty weak.
  17. Israel Idonije. Glad they matched it.
  18. WHO is jerking peoples' chains?
  19. Regardless of what they gave Brady and Seymour, whether Colvin got $20M or $26M, and how much they allegedly offered Mason, it is immaterial to what they'll be offering a guy like Koppen versus what OTHER teams will be willing to offer him. Players have been leaving the Pats in droves the past few years, and in one case, over $500K in guaranteed money. All the while, Brady makes comments like "I wish they didn't have to leave." And as for winning the division, enjoy while it lasts, which won't be much longer. YesI know, another prediction.
  20. From Chris Brown's blog today: Way to go, JP.
  21. Yes I mentioned Brady and Seymour already. Colvin got a 6-year $20M contract. The Bills gave Spikes a 6-year $32M contract. As for Mason, got a link to the Mason offer? I'd be willing to bet it was similar to what Branch rejected, i.e. a contract that looked good on the surface. Hey, I hope they keep to it. How could he complain? A proven WR who won SB MVP for a 1st round pick who is wholly unproven, recent history or not? For WHOM are they saving this money? Their 1st round picks?
