  1. The Bills took Mike Williams in 2002. And judging by the success rate of 1st round OL that past 10 years, outside of guys taken in the top-3 that the Bills never had a shot at, it's more of a crap shoot than anything else. I mean look at Robert Gallery. He was everyone's #1 stud. He sucks.
  2. Yeah, his performance (he also tossed 1 TD, which was 1 more than Brady did) was so bad, it was enough to win the game. I'd be more correct in saying that Huard could have duplicated Brady's mediocre performance in the SB, had he too gotten 3 turnovers in Rams territory, but that's a hypothetical. Bledsoe ACTUALLY led the team to a win. And it's not like he hadn't taken a team to the SB before, with a much worse defense, ST's, and about the same caliber of offense.
  3. Yeah and if Bledsoe didn't come in for Brady when he got injured in the Pgh playoff game, they're not SB champions either.
  4. The stringrays are revolting? You ain't so hot yourself, buddy!
  5. Let's talk Marine Midland Arena?
  6. Well if Schoop actually said that Tom Brady "carried the team in 2001," he truly IS an idiot. Give JP Brady's O-line even, much less his defense and ST's (sorry but the ST's suck this year), plus Belichick, Weis, and Crennel, and he TOO would be winning a SB. And my opinion of Felser was lowered when he went into training camp thinking JP was a bust, and then did a complete 180 after JP won the starting job. As has been said, these guys know no more than any of us, despite their contacts. At best they're good for inside information on what's going on, not predicting the future.
  7. Exactly, and specifically how exciting the offense was.
  8. I hope Travis has his life in order and he can keep up the good work. He grew up a Bills fan and played his heart out here, that makes him alright in my book.
  9. Boldin was amazing. He was a one-man wrecking crew and they still couldn't stop him despite double-teaming. Reminded me of Moulds in his prime. Even though I love Evans, I still wish they had someone like Moulds.
  10. Like whom? Give examples, please, primarily on sacks. I've seen more than a few people talk about the crappiness of the O-line or the failures of the WR's to get open/quickly. And while I'm sure JP's missed a few open WR's, it's not happening nearly as much as the other 2 things.
  11. I don't see what Hargrove did as being even CLOSE to what Williams or Moulds pulled. Your children come first EVERY TIME.
  12. Uh BD, the Clarett thing was a joke. Just like the Williams and Moulds things were jokes.
  13. Good point. Throw-in Rae Carruth as well.
  14. Not to mention Maurice Clarett.
  15. Uh, no. I understand the frustration, but let's not go overboard.
  16. I guess the problem the Rams had with Hargrove is that he had TOO much character.
  17. Booger's getting long in the tooth. I'm glad they didn't trade a 1st. As for Hargrove, he was drafted in the 3rd round in 2004. He's 6' 3-3/4" and 272#, and runs a 4.63 40-yard. Good size and speed. Hope he pans out. http://www.nfl.com/draft/profiles/tony_hargrove
  18. That makes me feel better about him.
  19. If only. But I'd be willing to wager the league will say he tested positive because he took the banned substance today only.
  20. Frick! They couldn't nail him BEFORE the Bills game? http://www.kffl.com/hotw/nfl
  21. Hard to say how much Moss has left. He's been injured a lot the past 3 years and seems to be more of headcase now than he ever was. If he could return to his previous form, this would be a great trade for the Pats or ANY other team. But there's a lot of risk involved because you'll have to trade away AT LEAST a 1st rounder, plus pay him the remainder of his salary this year, which is $5.156M, and he likely won't be up-to-speed for about a month, then he's got 2 years left worth a combined $21M that he'll probably want a good portion of in signing bonus.
  22. I saw no difference in offense in the 2nd half from the first. The Cards were still taking shots downfield, which is part of the reason Leinart got sacked and fumbled. But on that last drive, the WR's were open quickly and Leinart was able to find them, mostly because they were the first option. I wish the Bills did more of that. And I was being facetious when I said he was "locking-onto" Boldin and that he had "poor pocket presence" for the sack and fumble for a TD.
  23. Shanahan has a higher winning percentage with Plummer than he did with Elway.
  24. Man, Leinart's "locking-onto" Boldin. Can't he go through his progressions?
