  1. Everything, although I'm not too fond of country and cowboy songs.
  2. Uh, the Sabres didn't turn it around because of ownership (although going from the Rigas' to ANYONE would have been a huge improvement). The GM and coach are the same, and they had one of the lowest payrolls last year. What turned them around was the salary cap and anticipating how the new rules would play-out.
  3. I used several of these over the past 3 years. Great deal. I even had a GC to a place that closed before I could use all of them (I had 4, of which I used 2), and restaurant.com gave me full credit.
  4. There are several potential cities that could/would want an NFL team and would be willing to pay for a new stadium, which is where owners can make a considerable amount of money outside of revenue sharing. The Buffalo market simply cannot afford a new stadium.
  5. They'd need a SS. And saying that Leinart would have led the Bills to no better a record is NOT me praising him. For a QB who was a star in THE premier college program the past 4-5 years, his play has been pretty bad, outside of the 1st quarter when you can script things (remember the Bills last year scoring TD's on their first drive 11 of the 16 games?).
  6. Did you HAVE to mention "wide right?"
  7. The LA example was but one potential city. There is also San Antonio, who got a taste of having the Saints last year and want an NFL team.
  8. He bought the team for $25K and the latest Forbes valuation is $756M. He could easily get more from someone looking to move the team, say to LA. The ONLY reason he's still in Buffalo is because even with the money he's making, it's still a great return on his investment, and he actually cares about the Buffalo community. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a moron.
  9. If the Bills had drafted Leinart...they'd still be no better than 2-5, if even that.
  10. Personally I'd target a top-flight center in FA or the draft. Next to LT, this is THE most important position on the O-line.
  11. Here, let Terrance tell ya: http://www.buffalobills.com/news/news.jsp?news_id=4314
  12. And up until this year, he's spent to the cap limit. It's not like he's scrimping on players and pocketing the change, while gouging fans on gameday. Love it or watch it leave.
  13. Probably not take them somewhere else, but sell them to the highest bidder who doesn't CARE if they stay in Buffalo. And Ralph had chances to move the team in the past, but didn't, and ALL it would have taken was a phone call and the NFL would have gladly done everything else FOR him.
  14. That was probably truth in advertising. Truck stops are well-known hangouts for hookers. Might as well kill two birds with one stone.
  15. When JP is the ONLY Bills player screwing up, then I'll call for his head. By the looks of it, that's not going to happen anytime soon.
  16. Too bad friggin' Shaun Rogers couldn't have been suspended for the Bills game, like he was the Jets game last weekend. Think that changed the outcome for both games?
  17. I said in the off-season that Peters will be the starting LT no later than 2007, and could be starting THIS year. I'm surprised they did it mid-season, but then again, I'm not. And just to reiterate, it looks like Reyes is being given time to recover from injuries, not necessarily being benched. Again I'd favor putting him at his more familiar position of RG instead of Villarrial.
  18. Peters says that Reyes is banged-up and will be back once he's healthy.
  19. Reportedly, there were pieces of the keg 200 feet away from where the blast occurred.
  20. I like the moves on the left side and was saying that's what they should have done over the off-season. I don't like Villy starting and think that Reyes should be starting over him now, seeing as how Villy is more a liability now and Reyes has been a RG most of his NFL career. At center there's really no other option, but the Bills need to get a dominant center somehow over the off-season and the O-line will be much-improved. As for Pennington, interesting to see him starting at RT. Here's hoping the changes work!
  21. No, the band's record label does.
  22. Gee, if I were Ralph, I'd also be pissed at how many Pats fans there were in the stands.
  23. It's better than "Sabres fans are smarter thEn Bills fans."
  24. JP's INT to Samuel was as pretty as Brady's was to Whitner, who was a rookie playing in his first NFL game.
