  1. Talk about disappointing. Not so much losing the streak, but losing period given the advantages. I was just beginning to believe that this was a team for the ages. But such is the life of a Buffalo fan.
  2. Wrong.
  3. To shift gears, what bed(s) have people tried and liked?
  4. JFH: Again, from all indications, it seems that Reyes was "benched" more for being injured than his play. If he hadn't been replaced by Aaron Merz last weekend because of injury, I'd think otherwise. And again I HOPE that the Bills replace Villarrial with Reyes when he gets healthy. It's too bad he was injured because if he wasn't, I'd be curious as to what they would have done differently with him. But I guess we'll find out, unless the new O-line starts playing well, then there's no impetus for a change. bluv: I appreciate what Gandy has done and don't think he "sucks" and needs to be gone, but he's not that LT the Bills want or need. Peters was always the LT of the future and I think moving Gandy inside is the best thing for the Bills, although it might not be for Gandy (who will be looking for a LT spot and money in FA next year), and that's all that matters. And if it gets the future at LT started early, i.e. before the 2007 draft, even better. en gone next year and the Bil
  5. bluv: Peters was going to play LT for the Bills next year anyway. Since Gandy had that horrible game against the Lions, it gave them a convenient excuse to make the move earlier. Gandy is not a great LT and will be an UFA next year and will likely be gone.
  6. Of course they're happy.
  7. Bernard played RDT in that game. He would typically go against the LG, which was Mike Wahle.
  8. I'm not looking for him to over-bulk himself, just that in the course of adding muscle, he'll bulk up a little.
  9. And how happy are they with Evan Mathis?
  10. Well since it's a rebuilding year, you give TKO the rest of the year to prove he's back. Ellison gets a year to bulk/strengthen up and get more experience. Then you see what you've got next year.
  11. I seriously hope that when Reyes gets healthy, they put him at RG, because I agree that it's been a problem and Reyes played RG for the Panthers pretty well. I'm hoping that Jauron's prior relationship with Villarrial and the fact that he's an elder statesmen doesn't prevent them from making this move.
  12. Yep. It's a grind going on a 4-game road trip, and add to that the deflation of losing to the worst team in the league, it will be a monumental task to go INTO the arena of the best team in the league, who hasn't taken a night off yet (well, at least against top-caliber competition), and win. But that's why they play the game. I just don't see it happening.
  13. NP. I'm loving the 10-0 start no matter HOW they got the wins.
  14. Nope. Just that playing 3, much less 4, road games within the space of 6 days is a tall order for any team. The Sabres have more talent, have played just 2 relatively easy road games in that same timeperiod, and will be at home.
  15. They've already tied the record. I'm saying to leave no doubt, they should win another 4 games at least until we start saying it's the best start ever.
  16. It doesn't matter what their previous record was. They just lost to the Flosers. And they'll be on the road again against a much better team. I think the Sabres could play the way they did tonight and still romp. But I hope they bring a little more just to be sure.
  17. You mean the team that lost to the Flosers tonight in a SO? The team that lost it's last 2 games and who will be playing it's 3rd road game in 4 days and 4th road game in 6 days?
  18. Yes.
  19. I said on the Sabres board that I think the Sabres need to win 4 more games in regulation or OT to truly break the record.
  20. I'm stoked that the Sabres are looking great and have come to the realization that the Bills are rebuilding.
  21. Tony Romo is one "i" short of having "it."
  22. Remember that this is the same city that had a TV crew in the lockerroom after a Cowboys game and showed live footage of a guy with his thing hanging out.
