  1. Yeah, I just read that Reyes is healthy after creating my post above. I had heard during the bye week that Gandy asked for Reyes to be replaced because of motivation/work ethic. I guess that's what we're seeing.
  2. Levy asleep at the wheel, AGAIN!!
  3. I doubt it. Reyes has been a healthy scratch (judging by him NOT being on the injury report last week) while Preston, who WAS on the injury report, played after Villarrial went down. I understand why they played him at LG after playing at RG with the Panthers, because Villarrial was at RG, but now there is NO reason to not have him play there, especially with Villarrial going down. Unless it's some disciplinary action.
  4. Is there a center prospect as good as Mangold?
  5. The Pats GOT gift calls against the Colts and Jets...and still lost. And I've been saying, while he's a good QB, switch him and Manning and Manning is the guy with at least 3 SB rings. Belichick, Weis, and Crennel were an amazing coaching staff.
  6. About F'ing time! (or is that ?)
  7. E.T. (Extra-hungry Terrestrial).
  8. What about Clements on Harrison (2 catches for 21 yards)? What was the difference between that game and most of the other games?
  9. Yep. It's funny whether facetious or not.
  10. Not to mention recognizing the blitz and cutting off his route.
  11. The Sabres let SEVERAL games against Carolina slip-away in the playoffs last year.
  12. Who were the announcers? Some criticize the calls, some toe the company line.
  13. The difference is Brunell is on the downside of his career and isn't the future. Campbell COULD be the future. Nall hasn't shown enough to be the 2nd string QB, much less a starter.
  14. Uh, until this year he HAS been a free spender.
  15. They also played Detroit the first week Shaun Rogers was suspended. As for yesterday's game, the Pats are injured and I wouldn't be surprised to see them lose several more games they otherwise should have won.
  16. I'm saying, don't TELL him to stay in the pocket. Let him move around. Run for first downs. Roll-out. Having a guy that moves around puts a lot more strain on a defense.
  17. The NHL I would say is slightly above. The problem is lack of exposure (i.e. no ESPN games) is killing them, at a time when the new rules are making it a much more exciting game.
  18. With the changes the Bills have made to the OL and starting WR spots, not to mention limiting JP's passes instead of replacing him, suffice it to say that the coaching staff doesn't think there's a better QB on the roster, and THEY signed Nall and didn't inherit him from the previous regime.
  19. He is now. He wasn't when he first got there or even when he initially was made GM. And Lovie Smith is the lowest-paid HC in the NFL.
  20. Smith left with Butler. And he's not making a lot of money as a GM.
  21. You think he'd do jail? He probably told her "you're gone" and she wised-up. Although he'd still be on the hook for child support, but nothing more.
  22. It's a matter of money, especially for young guys. The older ones usually want a chance at a ring. But given the choices out there, Buffalo AIN'T the top choice for most FA's, sorry to say.
  23. I e-mailed CB last night with this question, i.e. whether keeping him in the pocket and making him a sitting duck was helping him learn to read defenses. Good to hear that he went to Jauron and told him that idea sucked.
  24. Saw the play, and it was a BS call. Brady jumped as he released it and Hobson just took him down without picking him up. Combined with what happened last weekend against the Colts, I'm glad that even the refs can't help them win anymore.
