  1. Not to mention Villarrial was starting in both of those games. I thought he should have been replaced over the off-season.
  2. Everyone's at risk in the NFL. And I don't know if I'd be happy with spending an 8th overall on a guy who only plays on running downs. You're on. In a year's time (if we even remember this), the winner can say "I told you so."
  3. Man, I can't believe the Bills are 7-10 and the passing game is 31st in the NFL (I'm counting pre-season).
  4. Milloy will be out of the NFL in a year's time.
  5. Ngata had an ACL injury in college. So I guess he's bound to suffer another major injury soon.
  6. The Devils pulled MB before the first goal, got some lucky bounces, but still lost.
  7. And 16th in the NFL is good enough for you?
  8. The Bills should have known McCargo would get injured.
  9. What these guys want is money, first and foremost. Getting the BUFFALO Bills, in the smallest TV market in the NFL, out of there and into LA means another $400M more in TV revenue at least a year for the owners to split. And there's no guarantee that when a team gets placed in LA that local revenues will even approach what the other owners are making.
  10. Why do you think that these guys would be scared of competition?
  11. Are they boyfriends? Sorry, couldn't resist.
  12. I wouldn't be surprised to learn Ralph has found a buyer for the Bills. It's finding a buyer who would want to keep the Bills in Buffalo given the new, lousy, CBA.
  13. Jason Peters is stoopid.
  14. Sure he can. He can dig into his own pockets and take a loss. Next thing you know, he'll be buying out all the tickets and donating them.
  15. Word earlier in the season was that the "opt-out" clause (I believe it's applicable before the 2008 season) in the new CBA would be exercised by the owners. Let's hope so.
  16. Ralph is "poor" in relation to the other owners. He simply cannot afford to pay-out signing bonuses like other owners can. That means that a guy like Nate Clements, a key player on the Bills' defense and who the Bills have enough cap room to keep, will likely bolt for a team like the Redskins who can pay him a $17M signing bonus upfront. The same goes for other big-ticket FA's. Ralph is not being disingenuous and I agree that the NFL basically giving away free money so that big market teams can pocket the "local" revenue from a new stadium is bull sh--.
  17. Yes Ralph, you cheap selfish bastard! Sell the team for $750M to an owner who will probably see $25M a year in profits if he's lucky, and who will move the team anyway to somewhere that CAN support a team.
  18. Actually, I can't think of too many QB's playing much better. The QB play this year league-wide has been pretty bad.
  19. You can keep your oil. We know what it was previously used for.
  20. I'm excited by the win. Everything else can suck it.
  21. Nope. It will be Payton, period. A coach here or there might get a vote or two, but Payton will win in a landslide, and he should. Good for New Orleans!
  22. Hey look, the Bills are in their 4th year under Jauron and have a talented team on both sides of the ball.
  23. The Bills will probably spend about 2/3 of that cap space, which is still a good $26M.
