  1. Yech, I think I'm going to have to take a shower! Better to face a demoralized Bengals team than a motivated one next weekend.
  2. Good. Save him for Cincy.
  3. Hopefully no setbacks today and ready to go versus Cincy at 100%!
  4. Quick! Get some cheeseburgers, STAT!
  5. Did anyone expect the Giants to win this one? I'm looking at Indy and Pgh to take care of them for "us."
  6. the ST's are fugging up. Better tighten-it-up in the 2nd half fellas!
  7. Then again, take a look at Brady's stats from last weekend against the Browns. Not much different.
  8. Agreed. However if they don't get it together, they're going to get CREAMED in Cincy.
  9. The whole TEAM seems to start-off slow. Still I'd expect Willis and the O-line to at least get him 4 YPC against a team like the Browns. It's more indicative of the entire offense, and this team truly won't be a powerhouse until the O-line is upgraded.
  10. Yeah and on the Pats' first TD, Dillon's knee is down short of the goal-line, for what would have been 4th and goal at the half-yard line. I also think the refs blew the fumble by Rudi Johnson, and would have blown a quick whistle protecting the Pats if it was on the other end. Figures.
  11. Willis has 7 rushes for 25 yards. That's not even 4 YPC against one of the worst rushing defenses in the NFL.
  12. That is probably an upgrade.
  13. I've said this before, but I think that Willis is a major reason teams aren't blitzing anymore. I love Travis, but he was a between-the-tackles runner. That allowed teams to blitz up the middle with abandon because they'd either get to Bledsoe since Bledsoe is immobile and Travis can't pickup blitzes, or they'd stop Travis in his tracks. However Willis can not only pickup blitzes, but get to the outside. I mean it was a switch was flipped as soon as Willis started starting, WRT sacks.
  14. Yeah, he sucks. I can't wait either.
  15. I'm sure it was HGH, but where did you read HCG? Then again, it COULD explain that "tender nipples" thing during training camp.
  16. Bad news for the Pats: Graham and Givens are out. Combine that with the Weis situation and the Bengals wanting to shove it down Dillon's throat, and I see the Pats losing today. Not that them winning would be a bad thing either.
  17. They wanted him, but whether they would have coughed-up a pick as well is anyone's guess. And very few teams franchise players and trade them, much less for anything other than a 1st rounder.
  18. 1) Wire is cheap, under contract (455K salary next year), and a good ST'er. He stays. 2) Reese's contract is up after the season. At best brought back for the min if no one better is brought in. I'd add Prioleau is gone, given his salary ($1.25M) and suckitude. 3) I see the Bills bringing in competition at kicker. 4) Henry isn't "dead weight" and is the only member of the list who should actually get the Bills something in return for him. 5) NFW. Bannan stays and works at OL and 5th DT.
  19. Has he been doing this all year? Any links to early-season sessions? Thanks in advance.
  20. Highly unlikely on the Weis replacement thing. Good assistant coaches don't grow on trees, and Belichick was named the worst coach in Browns history because he didn't have good enough assistants. As for GW, he helped Gray get beat by Weis most of their time here in Buffalo.
  21. Come on people. Brady MADE Weis look good. He'd also make Killdrive look good. He's the greatest QB ever.
  22. We'll see about that. The Patriots are the best-coached team in the NFL. No one can dispute that.
  23. I'm sure they'd rather be HC's in the NFL than college. However what teams (I'm assuming from this year) have said they wished they waited until after the SB? I doubt it's more than a couple, and that leaves (typically) several other teams who DO choose their HC's prior to the SB, and thus have the pick of the best assistant coaches. I think that Weis (and Crennel) are expecting to go to the SB and think they'll be short-changed again (although I think the Pats aren't making the SB since they face some very strong competition this year, but that remains to be seen).
