  1. Maybe in another 86 years, but certainly not next year.
  2. I'm a big Travis fan, but I CANNOT overlook the effect of having Willis in there has had on sacks. I mean it was like night and day once Willis became the starter. And I don't know how Travis compared WRT runs for 0 or negative yards, so it might have been a better run-blocking O-line than what we've seen this year, and Travis didn't exactly have much success before Willis became the starter. His best game stat-wise was the 1st NE game, but it was a disaster in other areas for him.
  3. Willis also leads the league (at least he DID a few weeks ago) in number of runs for 0 or negative yards. That speaks to his O-line, which affects his average and "success rate."
  4. Vermeil likely will retire. I think this season has taken a toll on him and he sees rebuilding coming. As for LJ, his cap number is manageable and his work ethic doesn't mean as much if he's producing, and maybe he's improved that now that he's starting?
  5. Hopefully the owners stick to their guns and demand a salary cap. The players are losing valuable years of their careers arguing over several million dollars that they're more than losing by NOT playing for a year plus. And once a cap gets instituted, the Sabres benefit just like the Bills did and do.
  6. I doubt they trade him. Holmes is getting older and starting to get nicked-up quite a bit.
  7. Compared to the sell-off from last Wednesday when 2 analysts downgraded it, it's up $0.75. The past 2 days it's dropped $.39 but it also went up $.45 on Monday. I'll be interested to see where it goes from here, since they had some good news the past couple days and the stock still dropped.
  8. Try this: Sirius Receiver
  9. The Pack are tougher at home, and the frozen tundra of Lambeau field will be a shock to the warm-weather-loving Jags.
  10. I.e. the best defense is a good offense. Or is it the best offense is a good defense? Maybe the best offense is a good offense? No wait...
  11. At 6'7" and 275#, he'd be another Metzelaars, except with speed (4.86). Like with Bannan, something to work on over the off-season and develop for next year.
  12. Actually, "Serge" from "Beverly Hills Cop" would have been a better calling card.
  13. Considering Denney's Mormon background, Jesus would be a good person to ask.
  14. Bronson Pinchot? Sold! Ah, that's what I was sort of getting it confused with.
  15. I liked that part. I also like the part where she said "This is my knee. When you get healthy, you can have it back." Too bad about his bro, but with a strong mother like that, no wonder he's successful.
  16. BTW, is "True Romance" that Christian Slater movie where they go around killing people?
  17. Didn't Ralph also bail-out the Patriots? Or am I thinking of the Raiders?
  18. Hold off on that until Burress comes back. The Steelers barely have any WR's and losing Burress was a big blow. And as for the Miami-Pats game, I like the fact that it's on a Monday Night, in Miami. I hope for a hard-fought contest lasting into the wee hours. Then the Pats have a short week and have to travel to Jersey to face the Jets. Not a good set-up for them, although I don't know if I want the Jets to win.
  19. I want to see the Bills win anyway they can, without cheating. If that means an opponent rests their starters, so be it.
  20. Yeah, the INT was basically a lob-pass that got hung-up in the wind. Moulds slipped a bit and couldn't fight for the ball, hence the INT. And on the fumbled handoff to Willis, a Browns lineman got such good penetration that HE almost took the handoff.
