  1. If that's true, he's a moron. But like I said, I hope he was joking or made a mistake.
  2. You've been talking to some idiots, Rudy. Like I said in another thread, the Pats losing in the biggest upset ever in NFL history was the greatest thing to happen to the Bills.
  3. Exactly. He made the NFC Pro Bowl as an alternate. For what that's worth this year.
  4. Got this from the BuffaloBills.com message board. Don't know what it means in terms of Willis playing tomorrow, but good news nonetheless. I'd still rather let him, Peters, and any of the other injured players, sit and rest for the Steelers game.
  5. Kasper was obviously joking or made a mistake and got the scores reversed.
  6. Who would pay $14.99 for a bobblehead doll?
  7. I don't know about the NE game and the "no way they lose 2 in a row." They have more than a few older players who are starting to tire, their defense has been exposed by the Bengals and Dolphins these past 2 weeks, Brady's weaknesses were exposed by the Dolphins on MNF, and they have a short rest/work/prep week and have to play AT Jersey. I don't think it's a matter of them "not losing 2 in a row" but instead that they might not have enough in them to AVOID losing 2 in a row. We shall see, and it will be an interesting game to watch for sure.
  8. Doubtful after what happened to the Patriots. That game was the best thing for the Bills, for numerous reasons.
  9. This game will be a good one to rest the walking wounded. Anyone on the injury report, sit 'em down!
  10. You mean where Kelly got sacked and was ruled to have fumbled, but had his knee down? Yes I agree that NEEDS to be avenged.
  11. Yes if the Pats lose to the Jets and the Chargers win-out, they get the #2 seed. On one hand I'd like to see the Jets beat the Pats and the Chargers win, but the Jets losing helps the Bills out.
  12. Sit him against the 49'ers. In fact sit MOST of the starters. I'm only half-kidding.
  13. Whoever wins this weekend gets the 3rd seed in the playoffs. So the Colts will likely be resting their starters come week 17 anyway, unfortunately. The best thing is to hope for a tie.
  14. What would make that even better is if Taylor's knee was actually down before the fumble, but they're out of challenges. Would "even out" Jimbo's last game as a Bill back in 1996.
  15. Didn't the Bossman die earlier this year?
  16. Already have that deal. And I recently got rid of most of my credit cards that I didn't use. I was down to 3.
  17. The idea is to get into the playoffs, period. Once they are there, THEN they can see if they can beat a playoff caliber team.
  18. It's a foregone conclusion. Had the Pats NOT lost a shocker to the Dols on MNF, I'd have a little concern that the Bills might overlook the 49'ers. But not now.
  19. Too funny. Maybe I should be more like you ATBNG: a cowering simp who accepts what's given to me without questioning it. It would make for a much simpler life.
  20. Did they have an alternate for punter? I know they did the past few years, which is why it amazes me that Moorman didn't make it as one THIS year. Oh well, we know what we have, and I'm sure not making the Pro Bowl saves the Bills some additional money off next year's cap.
  21. You can't separate out the return skills from the cover skills. They are a package deal with TM. An his earlier struggles have proven to be just that. He's doing well and seems to be a better all-around CB than the others taken ahead of him. And he'll only get better, having played at a small school in college.
  22. The players were quoted in some local PA papers as saying that if they DO beat the Ravens this weekend and clinch HFA, they'll rest most of their starters. The injury to TO opened their eyes. As for the Miami win, I agree it was monumental! However I think that both the Dolphins, and the Bengals last weekend, have provided a blueprint for how to score on the Patriots' defense. In both games the defense gave-up 28+ points. And during the MNF game, they were talking about how Brady struggles against the Dols because of how they use their safeties. I think any team that studies that MNF game alone, in conjunction with the Bengals game, will have a pretty good blueprint for beating them.
  23. Does anyone really think the 49'ers, who got blanked by the Seahawks, can actually score 7 points on the Bills, much less 17?
  24. Either to not divulge that he'll be playing next weekend, or just to avoid all the questions about his knee. Bad memories, you know?
