  1. Gotta love Dungy, if true. The Colts got a scare at home against the Chargers, and it won't get any easier in NE or Pgh. In Denver is a semi-decent test, although the team isn't that good.
  2. It's a combo of things. It's the absurdity of the cowbell being a major part of a song. It's Will Ferrell going over-the-top with his playing of said cowbell. It's Chris Walken delivering his deadpan lines. And it's the cast cracking-up, which to me is the hallmark of a great skit and/or comic genius, i.e. when you can get your fellow professional comedians to laugh live during a performance of at a skit rehearsed umpteen times.
  3. The Bills will be able to get a 2nd rounder. If Dillon, a malcontent considered to be on the downside of his career, could fetch one, so too can Henry. And with the market being weak thanks to RW retirement and the Colts planning on franchising Edge, Henry will be one of the more sought-after RB's.
  4. The Bills got fugged-over by the zebras in the Raiders and 1st Pats game. Sorry but that is NOT "getting what you deserve." If the Bills miss the playoffs, it will be a travesty.
  5. Then again, the Redskins might have a say in all of this.
  6. Wasn't the Patsy's loss to the Dols THE biggest upset in NFL history? I thought I heard that NO team with 12 wins ever lost to a team with 2 wins. Are there any other upsets with such a large discrepancy between wins?
  7. Make that 100 yards.
  8. I gotta feva, and the only prescription, is more...
  9. If the Bills score 15 points this weekend, they'll have surpassed in the last 7 games their total points output for ALL of last year.
  10. They are better than any NFC team (now that TO is out), and should rank below the 4 AFC division winners. In all fairness they should be ranked #5, and are probably better than that.
  11. No, and "educated Jets fan" is an oxymoron. An "uneducated Jets fan" is redundant.
  12. I was praying the Titans would beat the Broncos, but when you can't even dress 45 players and lose another 5-6 during a game, you have NO chance, even against the 49'ers (well, maybe not). Now while the Bills face Steelers backups and the Broncos face Indy backups, I'd say the Bills could beat the Steelers starters in Buffalo whereas the Broncos would lose BADLY to the Colts' starters in Indy. Like I said, I just hope Indy takes a look at last year to see what can happen if you rest your starters and end up facing the same team in the playoffs.
  13. The Bills are a MUCH better team than the Broncos. You need only look at the 6 (soon to be 7) game winning streak they're on, and the margin of victory over their opponents. And ideally if the Colts DO rest their starters with the intention of not having to play the Bills, they'll suffer a similar fate as Denver did last year. I just hope they realize what happened last year and don't do that.
  14. Reed is Beebe without the speed.
  15. He needs 220. Doubtful. I'll take half that and a few more 2 more TD's, though.
  16. Well, Cowher can play his starters who are "100%," but there's a good chance they won't be after the game is over. You don't want to play a meaningless game (for you) against a team with everything in the world to play for.
  17. Who would I rather the Bills played? To quote Vasquez from Aliens, "Look, man. I only need to know one thing: Where they are..." That and "Let's rooock!"
  18. Let's hope the Bills upgrade the O-line. If they can keep Phat Pat at his current salary and find a replacement for Jennings after he bolts for greener backs, they can possibly move Teague to LG, find a center, and whoa boy!
  19. The good news is the Jets/Rams game is at 1 PM. The Seahags host the Falcons at 4 PM. If the Rams win tonight, then they'll play hard next Sunday, because if the Seahags lose (which they won't know at that time) and both teams end up with the same record, the Rams will win the division based on sweeping the Seahags, and make the playoffs. Whether that is enough for them to beat the Jets I don't know, but I'd rather they have more motivation to play for than just pride, against the Jets.
  20. You obviously didn't read my post thoroughly. They didn't "control their destiny" when they were getting screwed over by the zebras in the Raiders and 1st Pats games. That's what I'm talking about and why I'll be pissed if the miss the playoffs while 2 lesser teams potentially make them.
  21. Basically there are 2 teams who hold the Bills' playoff fate in their hands: the Jets and Broncos. With the way the Bills have been playing lately (potentially a 7-game winning streak to end the season), in comparison to the way those 2 teams have been playing, does ANYONE feel that either of those teams is better than the Bills right now and/or deserves to make the playoffs? Does the NFL care, or more precisely, SHOULD they care, or should they not and hope the bigger market teams make it even though they're not the best team? I don't know the answer, but again as the subject says, with the officiating in 2 of the 4 games during that 0-4 at the beginning of the season, I'll be PISSED OFF if the Bills don't make the playoffs.
  22. Brees without question. McGahee was never really there, to comeback from, eh?
  23. I'm not satisfied! I want playoffs! The Bills as a team are playing incredibly and next year anything can happen to derail that. I want in and see what happens.
  24. Thanks, CL!
