  1. That JaMarcus Russell kid was impressive.
  2. I don't know if you CAN make an assessment of McCargo given his limited playing time. I think they need to add a run-stuffing DT regardless and Tim Anderson is the odd-man out.
  3. Yeah, after Villarrial went down.
  4. Another impressive stat is that the Bills set a franchise record for fewest penalties and penalty yards. Didn't seem that way, but it was.
  5. No story to disbelieve, that's what Ralph actually said. And with the Bills possibly having found their OT's (Pennington's game against the best D-line and defense in the NFL notwithstanding), I think that focusing on improving the interior is what he's talking about. And that doesn't mean drafting an OG in the first round. And of course, the Bills have NEVER been close to being under the cap as what they're going to be next off-season.
  6. Yet they still won't all sell-out. No scratch that, they'll sell-out but the games will be represented by a majority of opposing teams' fans.
  7. Yeah right, because having an $800M debt, spending to the cap, much less OVER it to pay-out bonuses, hiring $5M a year coaches, and having a lousy local economy that can't support a new stadium, if even the one they have, is a sure way to economic prosperity for a new owner.
  8. Same here. But I guess as a Bills fan, I haven't become jaded to the point of predicting doom and gloom at every turn, yet.
  9. Ralph wants improvements Now I realize this is written by Connor Byrne, basically a fan just like us, but I doubt he made-up these quotes. So that means O-line help should be arriving. Yeah!
  10. It likely doesn't matter since the Bears aren't going past the NFCCG. Losing Tommie Harris was a huge blow, and their QB's are bad. But when they DO get bounced, Lovie is going to be getting it all off-season for not starting the other QB.
  11. I'll wait until I hear from someone who was actually AT the game. But while JP didn't have a great game, neither did anyone else on the offense.
  12. BTW, if you think JP was bad, take a look at how Grossman is playing. That can't leave you with a comfortable feeling going into the playoffs.
  13. I think that the rain affected/affects JP. He's much more loose and inaccurate with the ball. Maybe he should wear a towel or gloves. But he had no help on offense today. The run game was non-existent and Willis had a fumble, WR's ran bad/lazy routes, the interior got blownup, and their were WAY too many penalties.
  14. They shouldn't be. The Jets came into their house and beat them. And I had less faith that a Cutler-led offense could beat the Pats than a Plummer-led one could, because of the experience factor.
  15. Was the decision by Shanahan to replace Plummer a good move?
  16. The Bills had the hardest schedule in the NFL this year, so they lose the tie-breaker to any team with the same record.
  17. Uh yeah, I know the Ravens are the best defense in the NFL and were at home. Willis did nothing and JP was relied-on to be the offense. Few QB's succeed under such circumstances, especially with an offense committing as many penalties as they did.
  18. Yeah, no running game will kill you.
  19. Cool. Just another 37 passing yards for JP to reach 3,000. Then he can hand it off to Willis for the rest of the game so he can get another 22 yards for 1,000 yards (which will take 14 carries to get, at this pace).
  20. Hey jester, the odds are stacked against the Bills winning today. If they win, great but it means little. Hence if they lose, other teams winning helps their draft position.
  21. The Bills have themselves a QB, folks. Hear me now but believe me later if you must.
  22. Sure I want the Sabres to win the President's trophy. The Bills' season however is done and we know where the problems lie. A better draft pick allows the Bills to pick a better player or trade down for more picks.
