  1. It (Moulds ordering a pizza during practice) was supposed to be a joke. I guess no one got it until Thurman ordered one during Bills practice for Eric.
  2. He won't be going over the middle.
  3. No need for a poll, I think it's pretty obvious.
  4. I'm not worried about either...until they prove themselves.
  5. Exactly. Hey, he wanted to use it in a conversation, so I suggested a scenario.
  6. Try telling a female co-worker she has "fluid hips." See where that gets you.
  7. Arrington has proven dick in the NFL. When he actually steps onto the field and rushes for 1,400 yards and scored 12 TD's, and even reaches just 40 receptions, then talk to me about being better than Travis. The same goes for the top-5 RB's. Potential means you haven't done anything yet.
  8. Sounds like another Brandon Spoon. Let's hope not.
  9. Sometimes "potential" is better than a known commodity. Whatever.
  10. Thanks. Ah those old-fashioned wacky sayings!
  11. I want to bring in that Boise State kicker. He's supposed to be decent.
  12. So if you're sure of a bet, you would bet that? Or it means you'd bet the whole stack?
  13. BTW, what IS a "bottom dollar?" Is that like a plug nickel?
  14. I could care less what any guide or amateur draftnik thinks about the OL picks. I'm sure McNally thought they were good picks, and Preston has an outside chance to start, seeing as how one scout said he's "not a developmental type." I liked the Everett pick as well. The CB and RB may or may not pan-out. However Parrish I think will be a good returnman at the least, allowing McGee to concentrate on CB. Whether he becomes a good #3 WR remains to be seen, but if they put him in motion, he should be fine. All in all, this was a lousy draft class.
  15. Maybe in James' case, because he's had a major knee injury, but not with Alexander IMHO. Great players usually find a way to stick around for awhile. But again, the market doesn't know the true value of a player, and also cannot know how much longer a player has left in him.
  16. Yeah, woo hoo! I think you'll die a painful death. If I'm right, woo hoo!
  17. I'd agree with the stock market analogy. The time wasn't right to sell because no one wanted to buy at the stated price. So best to keep him and hope his value goes up, like if a team suffers an injury or has a RB who would rather be a pothead. Oh and Alexander and James weren't traded either, even though neither would have cost a 1st round pick, much less a top-5 pick, and are INFINITELY more proven than the guys who WERE selected in the top-5, and who will be making similar money. The market doesn't know any better than anyone else what a player is truly worth, it's just a market.
  18. This all goes along with what that guy heard McNally say at a coaches meeting a few months ago, i.e. Peters was a revelation at LT and Bannan would be in the mix at LG.
  19. Actually it's LeShon Johnson, and it was 1-AA Obviously you did: http://www.athleticforum.com/dwa/JOHNSON.html And it's more like 50-50 for them to bust, with others gaining over 2,000 being Ricky Williams, Tomlinson, and Byron Hanspard, along with Troy Davis who did it twice.
  20. Or... http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/MossSa00.htm
  21. Or not. To me it seems like McNally likes the group he's got. Maybe Wilkerson if he's around.
  22. Exactly. What is the problem here? Or is it just another reason to whine?
  23. Rashaan Salaam, Troy Davis, Leon Johnson, and Larry Johnson are the ones I can name off the top of my head. I'm sure there are several more.
