  1. Lindell's NOT a small dude.
  2. True. It would have been better for the Bills to lose to the losing teams on their schedule than to barely squeak by them like they did. Oh, wait a minute...
  3. Heck, just a kicker who could make a 27-yard kick probably would have made the Bills a playoff team last year.
  4. I didn't realize his numbers were that good. I could give a rip about 40-time because he won't be going out on many fly patterns. And he's got the intensity and hunger. Hopefully he can make it in the NFL.
  5. Gause and Gudmundsen. Maybe Goldberry as well.
  6. Should I fake my orgasms? I'm a guy, BTW.
  7. If he goes in motion, which I expect a lot if not exclusively for him, no DB will get a chance to try and jam him, and risk a huge play if they try and whiff. Also what Coker said about him facing big DB's like Rolle in practice will make it easier for him to learn to avoid the jam in the NFL, like Lee did.
  8. Brady is successful because he puts in the prep time and has a great set of coaches and smart players around him. His WR's run good routes, get open/into their patterns quickly, recognize the blitz and cut-off their routes, and catch the ball. I think this is why the Bills have shifted philosophy and started drafting smaller, faster, and quicker WR's. In addition, Brady's O-line gives him enough to during blitzes for him to spot a WR who has broken-off his pattern, and Weis would usually anticipate the blitz, have his O-line block down, and provide an outlet receiver as well. Basically it's a team effort, not a one-man one. If JP can get those things from his offense, he'll be successful.
  9. The Bills have their franchise tag and WILL use it on Nate after the season ends. The transition tag does them no good since they'd get no compensation if they lost him.
  10. Beebe unfortunately didn't have the hands. Hopefully Parrish does, or will.
  11. I doubt that was the reason. But Parrish will have to WANT to put in the extra practice time.
  12. All I want out of JP is what the Pats did with Brady in 2001. That's not to say that the Bills will win the SB, just that I want him to have to shoulder as little of the load as possible.
  13. Fair enough. I was thinking more personnel-wise.
  14. How so? I've been saying all along that the Bills needed a better 3rd WR and TE, as well as O-line, regardless of who plays QB. Sure JP's mobility might help, but it also might lead to him getting sacked a ton, like Vick does, and that can lead to injury.
  15. Oy! You think a speedy 3rd/slot WR like Parrish and/or a TE like Everett would have helped Bledsoe? How about all the O-line additions? I like JP's potential, but the Bills are NOT not building the offense around the QB in this case.
  16. About as much of one as Harrison is.
  17. He's 5'9-3/4" and 170#, with room the Bills say to add another 10-15#. Just adding 5# more will make him as heavy as Harrison, at 2" shorter. You can't hit what you can't catch, and you can't get a good shot on what doesn't give you a lot of area to hit.
  18. Yeah, we won't see a replay of what happened to Big Mike last TC, so that's an improvement right there. And the LG position will at worst be manned by Andersen who was part of some good Ravens O-lines (despite him being called the "weak link" of that O-line, it's all relative and he's still better than the "best" LG the Bills had to offer last year). I'm personally hoping that "Duke" wins the OC spot, because I don't want to see Teague or Tucker there, since they don't have the natural size "Duke" does. And if Teague plays LT, I'm fine with that. Get him some help (i.e. put a TE next to him a lot) if need be.
  19. So "Serenity" is "FireFly," only different? I love Sci-Fi, but the trailer didn't do it for me.
  20. The OL situation will be infinitely improved. The Bills added some players who have starting experience and some came from lousy teams. And the draftees (and undraftees) they got made McNally happy (even moreso if they can get Munoz, I would expect). Just the competition alone will make the O-line better.
  21. Parrish is a shade under 5'10" and they expect him to get to around 180#. As for his intelligence, it's basically "go that way, real fast. If something gets in your way, turn!"
