  1. McNally was reportedly happy with the O-line picks. And as an aside, I can only assume that with the possibility of getting Barnes but no effort to trade up on their part, that he wasn't as high on their lists as people would think. Oh and Anderson committed 4 false starts and 1 holding penalty last year while the Smith/Tucker combo committed 3 false starts and 5 holding penalties. Given the choice, I'd take the 1 more false start and 4 fewer holding penalties and call that an improvement.
  2. Shockey WAS a 1-year wonder. I'm am hoping against hope that Everett is alright because I think he could become a great TE in the league. So no I don't think Shockey is worth the aggravation, draft pick(s), and money it would take to get him.
  3. Good god people! We've just witnessed the largely unknown EIGHTH sign of the apocalypse! But hell, if a steroided, Austrian-born bodybuilder-turned-actor can become the guvuhnatuh of Caleefoneea (and see his popularity plummet faster than the box office receipts the week after Terminator 4 opens), so too can Tom Brady!
  4. Don't hurt you? Where's my cane at?! Seriously though, you're gonna wish you NEVER came here. No seriously, welcome aboard.
  5. If they can just remain in the top 5, with the ST's continuing to be ranked in the top 3 and the offense moving up a few notches, the Bills should have a good year. Lindell will still be a problem though.
  6. It's been UBER-frustrating, going on over a decade now! I've been non-plussed about all the TE's the Bills have had over the years, and don't think any of them had the potential that Everett does. The only one who I thought might have been close was Bobby Collins, but he was coming from a small school and he couldn't make the jump. Euhus seemed to have promise, but mostly as a receiving TE, and he's also injured. Oy!
  7. Yeah, he sounds like he could be good. He's only 5'8-3/8", but luckily the division has some smaller WR's who he shouldn't have trouble covering, eventually.
  8. I'd feel better if I knew that Everrett was okay. I just have this feeling he's lost for the season amd it's bringing me down.
  9. I am SO hoping I'm wrong on this, but him hurting himself without contact, slapping the ground in frustration, being carted-off, having a lot of swelling, and walking on crutches, leads me to believe it's serious. Again, I hope I'm dead wrong on this. I love his potential and think he's the best TE prospect the Bills have had in over a decade.
  10. Man, the Yankees' payroll just went up $9M!
  11. I doubt they become a pass-first team, at least this year. I think the trio of Moulds, Evans, and Parrish, and Everrett if he didn't tear his ACL (which I fear he did), would allow the Bills to force teams to spread out their defense, making it easier for Willis to run.
  12. Or his big unit. It's a curse, I tell you!
  13. The guy must have been gay. There's no other explanation for it.
  14. They're all lying. Big Mike hasn't been working out in Buffalo, so he CAN'T be "sleek" and "svelte."
  15. I think that if I DO ever take up smoking any kind of tobacco, it will be a pipe.
  16. I try to keep up with stats sites, and so far I've never seen one that mentions the percentage of plays that a player participates in. I think the best you'll get is occasional mentions (like with PW) when it's contextually relevant (like how it SHOULDN'T be too hard to replace a guy who played only 58% of the snaps).
  17. If Everrett is alright and can stay healthy, this will be a "speed kills" kind of offense. It's quite possible that Moulds could be the slowest player outside of the linemen.
  18. And 600 guests. Talk about a whack-job. Planning a gigantic wedding, and then skipping town.
  19. I'd sign him for league minimum. See what he can do. If he can't, cut him. If he can, great, he's cheap.
  20. LJ Shelton will most likely be released by the Cards, and it looks like he won't have many suitors, least of all the Bills. What will people, namely that dope Florio, say about the Bills not trading Travis THEN? As I've said, switching 2nd rounders was equivalent to a high 4th round pick, and in a weak draft like that, it wasn't worth it. I say good for TD holding-onto Travis and waiting for a better opportunity to come along. If it doesn't, oh well. Travis will have effectively killed his career and his chance at a big payday.
  21. The Pats' run is over. Don't worry about Flutie getting a ring.
  22. I meant I believe Aaron Rodgers was kidding with his comment. He had to have been kidding, because otherwise it would make him the biggest ahole in the world. As for Rodgers falling to #24 because no team from 2-23 needed a QB, that's simply wrong! Assuming Rodgers is a "franchise-type QB," there were at least 5 teams who needed one of those, but instead opted for another position. Generally NO team bypasses a "franchise-type QB" when given the chance, much less several. There were simply a lot of concerns regarding Rodgers. But again, on-the-field will be where everything is proven, not mock drafts.
  23. I'm sure he was kidding, but there's a reason Rodgers fell to 24th in a WEAK draft. We'll see who is the better QB.
  24. Yep, because the Bills spent a ton of money and time on him.
  25. We'll see who has the last laugh. I'd rather keep Travis than trade him for a player no one on the Bills wanted and/or a 4th round pick.
