  1. I'm not so sure now that Willis and the line WILL be the key to it all. JP on rollouts could be deadly.
  2. Yes, keep him as #3. He has WAY more potential/upside than Matthews.
  3. He probably realized that the Pack was getting handled by a "lesser team" than what they'll face next week, and the implications of that. Dumbass.
  4. Woodbury should be the 3rd QB. In any case, when you get to the 3rd QB, you're screwed anyway. But at least while he's occupying the 3rd spot, he can be used on ST's, at WR, and for trick plays (in the 4th quarter only, though).
  5. Hey, it was worth a shot. Have a nice weekend.
  6. Uh, that would be Camilla Parker Bowles.
  7. Ah, the sound of one hand clapping. So mellifluous!
  8. Please tell me you'll be doing that immediately AFTER the game, and posting your analyses soon after that?
  9. Yeah, you BETTER duck. Wasn't Holcomb going against backups? Not saying that he couldn't be a starter OR be better than JP, but I wouldn't make that judgement based on tonight.
  10. Oh and let me say that I think that the Pack's defense is much better with Jim Bates (the Dol's former DC and interim HC last year) at DC. Remember that Dols-Pats MNF game last year?
  11. Yeah, that pass was bad, but no INT and it will be a learning experience for him and he's supposedly a quick study. As for the other stuff, I agree that he's damned if he does, damned if he doesn't WRT running versus passing. And I don't know what some of y'all are watching, but they didn't call KGB's name until he made a run-stuff while playing DT, and on another he got upfield but Gandy pushed him far enough away from JP for JP to step-up (how beautiful) and fire that (incomplete) pass to JR (when he could have run it in).
  12. "Almost" INT doesn't count. By that token, the Bills "almost" won SB XXV.
  13. Don't forget, Lambeau Field was SOLD-OUT for this scrimmage, so it was more like a game, plus it was televised.
  14. Like I said before, the misses were more physical/repetitions-needed errors than anything else, except for the first which was interference/holding. All in all a good showing and Gandy looked great against KGB.
  15. Yeah, what a clod. A whole WEEK into training camp and all. Sheesh.
  16. Hard to say whether Lee would have caught up with it, but it was holding at the least, and probably PI for a big pickup of yardage.
  17. Forgot to mention Gandy not having much problem with KGB. Frankly if Gandy can man his position, I think I'd like Preston to start at center. Seemed like a lot of the running problems were because of Teague.
  18. Yeah, run-blocking has been weak. JP looked great. If not for Ahmad Carroll holding Evans, which should have been called, he possibly could have had a TD, and at least should have had a 1st down. But on that drive they punted on 3rd down, which I guess is because they get 10 plays a drive or something.
  19. I'd be willing to bet Westbrook's situation gets settled quickly. And didn't they draft a RB as well? Maybe a WR might be trade bait, but I don't think Travis would have been. But I guess we'll never know now.
  20. Well, he IS a smaller target. Hard to hit what's fast, quick, and doesn't have a lot of area TO hit.
  21. I didn't hear that. Cool and with this latest news, I guess maybe he CAN beat the jam, which is good news.
  22. Well, it WAS a rookie CB. I want to see him do that to Nate.
  23. If that happens, get the Preston and Peters era started ASAP, and have JP rollout to the right all the time.
  24. Thanks for the report. But nothing bad to report on Losman? Surely you must have rose-colored glasses on. As for him lead-blocking, ugh! Thoughts of him breaking his leg going against TROY VINCENT are way too fresh for me to be able to stomach the thought of this!
