  1. Maybe not the difference but a difference. Thus the reason they picked him in the 2nd round instead of waiting and possibly losing him. So far he's only impressed everyone. But given his size, he's always a health risk, like Deion Branch is with the Pats and Santana Moss is with the Jets (and David Boston with the Dolphins, but at the OTHER extreme!).
  2. Lefors being 6' will hurt him. He has history working against him as most successful QB's have been at least over 6'1" tall.
  3. So your best argument involves Vegas odds and 13 years of the NFC winning the SB? Sorry but that IS total conjecture. Again, the Bills had a great record against the NFC during that timeperiod (in fact they beat the Giants IN Jersey in 1990 during the regular season, and the Cowboys during the regular season in 1993). And AT BEST I'd say the 49'ers in 1992 or 1993 MIGHT have been able to beat the Bills in the SB, but no one else in the NFC during those 4 years. The Lions weren't going to do it in 1991, and after Montana got hurt in the NFCCG in 1990, there was no WAY the 49'ers were going to be able to do it. So again, anything more on this subject is PURE conjecture, conjured up by Reilly, a guy so brilliant he insulted himself when he said that alliterative names (Buffalo Bills, Jax Jaguars, Rick Reilly) were annoying.
  4. Yeah, if a vested veteran (more than 4 years in the NFL) does that, the team can put him on the "reserve/suspended" list or something like that, prevent him from playing the whole season, and still get to keep him for the same remaining number of years after that. But I don't know if that applies when the teams kicks the player out.
  5. True. They'll save him for the playoffs.
  6. He should have been banned for life for admitting to using a masking agent, thereby failing hundreds of drug tests over the years. A 4-game suspension was enough of a joke, but cutting it in half to 2 would just prove to me that the NFL is fixed, or more precisely, needs to be.
  7. I'd be hard-pressed to name even ONE team outside of the SB winner who could have beaten the Bills in the SB, much less "several." I also think that in 1991, the Oilers could have beaten the Redskins in the SB. But that's all as much speculation as the Raiders beating the Rams in 2001 had the "tuck" not happened, or the Colts beating the Panthers in 2003 if not for all the missed/ignored defensive interferences.
  8. At best what you've posted is pure conjecture. At worst it's disproven by the Bills having a winning record against the NFC during that timeperiod, regardless of the teams, even though the Bills ended up playing the NFC East, the best conference in the NFC, almost every year during that time.
  9. The Bills don't need anyone. Realistically Sobieski was a never-was, and Smith was 3rd behind Tucker (who can play all three interior spots), so his rostert spot was already in jeopardy (getting injured was probably the best thing for both Sobieski and Smith, because they get paid to rehab instead of being out on the street looking for work).
  10. That's the Rick Reilly angle on things, i.e. that the Bills were overrated because the AFC stunk, failing to mention that the Bills owned the NFC during the regular season. Not like football is any less atrociously played now.
  11. But the REAL question is, has (Corey, just so that there's no further confusion ) Simon passed the wrestling/hand-fighting drill with Krumrie yet?
  12. That would be breaking the 1st and 2nd Commandments.
  13. It looks like she's picking sand out of her bikini bottom. But who cares?! I see ass cleavage! And as for the fruitcake that writes that piece and says she has cellulite on her butt and thighs, jealous much?
  14. I KNEW there was a reason why I'm an atheist.
  15. Did they get the employee discount premium?
  16. A silent post for more cowbell inside a silent thread for silent threads.
  17. In a related story, Tom Donahoe still denies that he has talked to Titans' GM Floyd Reese about trading disgruntled RB Travis Henry.
  18. Gause is actually a shade under 6'5". And word is he's #4 on the depth chart, ahead of Ritzmann and Osunde. Apparently he's a better against the run and Ritzmann is better against the pass.
  19. Like anyone here would turn away Scarlett Johansson!
  20. If it WERE done, there would be no more silent threads, like this one, WOULD there?! Dammit! Now you made me break my silence!
  21. Oh yeah? Well I saw Simon at the Buffalo airport.
  22. There's the 3rd one. They say that deaths come in 3's. First he had Hunter, then Jennings, no Johnson. RIP fellas.
