  1. True. I've always lauded players for going all-out, but sometimes you need to know your limits. However I really can't fault Roscoe for doing what he did and actually think more highly of him, even though it might have cost him a good portion of the season.
  2. I feel dizzy. I wasn't talking about humanity; I was talking about ME! And while I have faith in the staff, I also loved what I was seeing/hearing about Roscoe. He would have added another dimension to the offense and made it that much less difficult on JP. But all we can do is hope someone else steps-up in Roscoe's absence because there's no other choice.
  3. Flutie didn't play?
  4. Shows what happens when you can no longer stifle basic human nature.
  5. He got injured August 23/24th of 2003.
  6. I have a feeling that Roscoe is out for awhile. It's making me sick.
  7. Glad the Bills didn't trade him for a conditional 2nd to the Jags.
  8. I saw Brady on the sidelines in the highlights on ESPN.
  9. Josh will get his time in with the starting unit tonight. If he's less-than-stellar, Wilson and Haddad will likely get their chances with the starters over the next couple pre-season games. May the best man win!
  10. I didn't. But I didn't think he'd NOT be a good QB because of injuries.
  11. The Bills have already said that JP will play more than a quarter and less than a half.
  12. It was probably inevitable anyway. Better to happen this early in pre-season so they can get the next guy as many reps as possible.
  13. Not necessarily. Parrish will likely play again this year, and there's a (small) outside chance Everett could as well. King and Parrish look good, as does Preston. Geisinger needs work, and don't forget some of the UDFA's.
  14. No, the 37 "targets" mean he was thrown to that many times. He had 16 catches and 6 drops, so the other 15 incompletions were not his fault. But to have 6 of 22 passes dropped (27%) is horrible. He did much better in 2003 (8% drops) and for some reason they don't have the drops for 2002, but I have to believe he's getting worse than getting better.
  15. That's been his MO throughout his college career. Great in practice/when it doesn't count. There was a reason why he was a top HS recruit, but also why he languished in USC for his whole career without bothering to transfer anywhere.
  16. I thought it was dumb.
  17. and could play next week. Take it for what it's worth. Also I heard a camp goer who said yesterday he talked with Lee Evans briefly, and he didn't think it was anything major. Also the local news tomnight reported it as a sprain. Hopefully this is true.
  18. Does he have his own production company? And this one better be good, otherwise that WILL be it for him.
  19. "The Sixth Sense" was a good movie. But the rest of M. Night's movies have had a decent premise, but fallen flat because they were poorly developed. Frankly I think "The Village" will be his last movie as a director, unless he gets projects where he's not also the writer.
  20. He won't make it in the NFL as a RB, unfortunately. Maybe as a RS, but he wasn't too impressive in the bits I saw him last night.
  21. Maybe the shape of a football.
  22. When I heard a few days ago that he was still going to show, I thought it was a bad idea. I'm glad he didn't and I agree that they should have announced he wasn't going to show.
  23. I hope George "Mr." Wilson seizes the opportunity. Or Aiken. I've seen enough of Reed to know he's NOT the answer.
