It's possible Willis is hurt worse than we think. I mean, didn't Terrell Owens break his leg getting tackled the way Willis did? But I think if Willis were truly injured, or injured badly, he wouldn't be lounging around in practice. I think Rosensleaze at the least demand he be held-out and/or seek medical advice/treatment.

And so what if he might be a little dinged? It's only pre-season.

I believe he did. I remember one of the sportswrites (King?) writing a piece about one of the "scabs" playing in that game and how he got to face LT.

I hope the "Parrish is a wussy" part was sarcasm. Because he isn't. He took a hellacious hit in college and finished-out the game (then he missed a couple after that with a bruised lung or something). And this injury had NOTHING to do with him being "too small."

***RUMOR ALERT*** Do not shoot the messenger. I repeat, DO NOT shoot the messenger. This is for the news-starved/rumor-tolerator, NOT the rumor police. I got this off another message board: Yeah I know, "my cousin's friend's uncle's drugdealer..." But he's a regular poster and I e-mailed him and he seems believable. Take it for what it's worth and do with it what you will. But taken with the other rumor of sorts that Rosensleaze thinks that the surgery won't get Roscoe to 100% and that he shouldn't play until he IS 100% (after the season), to prevent risk of further injury, and who knows what will happen?

I think "frozen solid" WAS an exaggeration, but suffice it to say that it was probably cold enough for the outer portion of their bodies to freeze, which would give the appearance of "freezing solid." And freezing to death isn't such a bad way to go, if you had to pick a way to do it ("...now, getting your nuts bit off by a laplander...").

It's also about the non-53, i.e. the coaching staff.

I just saw on ESPN's telecast of the Eagles-Steelers game that outside of T.O., the Eagles have a WR corps with just 27 career receptions among them? Ouch! And word is, they're planning on suspending T.O.

I think the Bills carry their standard 5 DB's (last year Clements, McGee, Thomas, Greer, and Vincent before moving to FS) and 4 S's (Milloy, Reese, Wire, Baker). So Thomas should stick as the 5th DB. And maybe you sacrifice experience (Wire) for being a player (Leonhard).

How many teams can afford right now to pay him what he thinks he's worth? So that means you pay him less and then wait for him to want to renegotiate NEXT year. No one wants that.

Owens is a HUGE black eye for him. Then there was Walker who endeared himself to no one, and Grady Jackson. Again McKenzie was never a threat to holdout and was a client dating to last year, and Boldin ultimately ended-up accepting a lower-than-market deal, probably because of his injury issues, and that's why it got done fast. Put it this way, it's NOT a contract that would have had others take notice and say "I want that guy representing me." This was a much-needed wakeup call for Rosensleaze and hopefully he'll think twice before throwing around the "h" word in the future.
