  1. More than likely he DOES progress. I guess we'll see though.
  2. Lake Pontchartrain? If Katrina hits, the city is going to be under several feet of water and sewage will be floating everywhere. I hope FEMA has already begun mobilizing.
  3. I've got a question. How many rookie OL are starting, or projected to start, for NFL teams this year, and how many were picked AFTER Parrish? This year was a weak draft for ALL players, O-linemen especially. I think the Bills did well drafting Preston and I'd like to see him start at LG, in preparation for taking over at center eventually. As for Parrish, you'll see his impact when he returns. I think the offense will take-off once he's back.
  4. I pray to mother nature that the storm doesn't hit NO. That would be devastating.
  5. I can't fault the O-line for all of the running game woes. Some of it was on the WR's, some on Shelton, vanilla play-calling, and Willis looking like he was going half-speed. The O-line isn't totally without blame however.
  6. Again, why not make him an assistant QB coach?
  7. I don't think they had a real gameplan other than to run more than pass. That's what it seemed like to me.
  8. I came away impressed with JP. A couple of bad decisions (running backwards another 10 yards after the fumbled snap and a throw right into the outstretch arms of Urlacher) and misfires, but overall he eluded the rush and avoided some sacks in a "how the hell..." kind of way, and made pretty sound decisions. What I was NOT impressed with was the running game, and I hope Willis wasn't going full-speed because he was caught several times trying to turn he corner with just 1 man to beat and didn't. And the WR's need to get better separation. I think the offense will take-off once Parrish returns (I know he's a rookie, but he's got speed and quickness to create separation quickly) and once they get the O-linemen to STOP getting penalties (Anderson, who is really starting to piss me off!) and putting the Bills in bad downs and distances. The defense and ST's look good, but Lindell maybe hasn't overcome his problems. I did notice a lot of penalties going against the Bears on ST's, and hopefully that continues in the regular season.
  9. He'd be more like the Tyler Hamilton of football. Hell, he's not even the Lance Armstrong of the CFL!
  10. The only "added value" for me is when we go to a bargain basement shoe place and get decent shoes at clearance prices. Usually the wife does the shoe shopping when we go somewhere we all want to go, and usually doesn't involve me in the decision (and she knows my preference is for her to wear strappy high heels ).
  11. Mularkey and co. aren't stupid. Doesn't the LACK of adjustments seem rather odd/convenient to you?
  12. Man, what a downer from all the late rounders and UDFA's this year!
  13. Didn't see the game, but good news on Ritzmann. Did Gause get any time with the 1st's and if he did, how did he look? As for WR, I see Reed and Haddad making it, and Wilson as well. Smith's only ticket to the team was as a PR and Aiken just doesn't seem to get it. At least with Wilson there's potential.
  14. JP already knows. Sounds more like a "my friend has a problem..." kind of thing.
  15. Sounded like Gandy was getting beat quite a bit as well...only for $12M less!
  16. The Bills do/did NOT want Seth Marler! Ugh.
  17. As the other thread suggested, it seems that the Bills were trying to everything in their power to look as inept as possible, in order to lull the Texans (and others) into a false sense of security. Yes I just typed that. Oh and before anyone else does it: DOOOMED!
  18. They actually might be pretty good. They took it to the Colts last weekend.
  19. I see officiating is as good as ever.
  20. It was a bad snap/hold. Get over it.
  21. Why DON'T they challenge plays like that?!
