  1. I'd find it hard to see the Pack giving up on Rodgers so soon, considering he's a rookie this year. Although I think he'll never make it in the NFL, I can't see them taking Leinart if they have the opp.
  2. I think JG will get some interviews, but fail to land a head coaching gig for a few more years. I think Fassel and Greggo will be HC's next year and who knows how many vacancies will open up?
  3. Hey, they just win fairly and squarely. Just like OJ did.
  4. Kind of like Brady's first start against the Colts back in 2001. Whatever, I'm happy with the win and with having good things to look forward to.
  5. You cannot hit the QB in the head, period. Well, unless you're the Pats in the SB that is.
  6. Were the redzone problems mostly due to JP?
  7. VA dislikes Travis, likes Bledsoe, and listens to/believes a scout friend of his whose (erroneous) opinion is that Losman will be a bust. So subconsciously he wants JP to fail, even though he'll never admit it.
  8. Thanks and good to know. I don't care about the (lack of) TO's and not being able to challenge so much, just wanted to know if the refs blew the call, as usual.
  9. Except subtract JP's performance.
  10. Someone said that he was OOB before he crossed the goalline, and since it was 4th down, they would have turned it over on downs. Is that correct?
  11. Don't know. Like I said, I think for short-yardage and redzone situations, he's fine, but that's a small part of what a TE needs to be able to do.
  12. Parcells, who was whining about the Giants getting 9 home games, should be feeling lucky that Antonio Gates stupidly held-out a day or two too long and missed the game. If he were there today, the Boys would have lost.
  13. The Steelers played their starting O-line the whole game in the season ender, right?
  14. Actually, it was Fair and Balanced.
  15. Game over. WTF? 1st and goal at the 7 and they go with 4 straight passes, when they have LT as a RB? Man they missed Gates today.
  16. Today was a PERFECT example of how the pre-season means jack.
  17. Despite the sacks and fumbles, Drew is throwing for 75% and has 3 TD's and no INT's. I'd say he's helping more than hurting them.
  18. What is he gonna do elsewhere? Be an OC? A HC? Doubtful. At best he'd probably be offered the same position and I doubt he'd leave, unless he were paid a ton of money. Even then I would expect him to get a slight raise and stay.
  19. Villarrial wasn't a castoff. Gandy was, but he's getting the best coaching he ever has.
  20. Alex Gibbs is also no longer around as OL coach. I wonder if Shanny gets the boot after this season, or have his 2 SB wins in the past bought him time despite several years of mediocrity?
  21. Didn't he line up as a TE in pre-season?
  22. Because he's more valuable as a potential starting LT. And he can still be used as a TE, which it sounds (I didn't see the game) like he was today, for short-yardage/redzone situations.
  23. And Denver might be worse. The tell-tale sign was them signing the Browns' castoffs.
