I'd find it hard to see the Pack giving up on Rodgers so soon, considering he's a rookie this year. Although I think he'll never make it in the NFL, I can't see them taking Leinart if they have the opp.
I think JG will get some interviews, but fail to land a head coaching gig for a few more years. I think Fassel and Greggo will be HC's next year and who knows how many vacancies will open up?
VA dislikes Travis, likes Bledsoe, and listens to/believes a scout friend of his whose (erroneous) opinion is that Losman will be a bust. So subconsciously he wants JP to fail, even though he'll never admit it.
Thanks and good to know. I don't care about the (lack of) TO's and not being able to challenge so much, just wanted to know if the refs blew the call, as usual.
Parcells, who was whining about the Giants getting 9 home games, should be feeling lucky that Antonio Gates stupidly held-out a day or two too long and missed the game. If he were there today, the Boys would have lost.
What is he gonna do elsewhere? Be an OC? A HC? Doubtful. At best he'd probably be offered the same position and I doubt he'd leave, unless he were paid a ton of money. Even then I would expect him to get a slight raise and stay.
Alex Gibbs is also no longer around as OL coach. I wonder if Shanny gets the boot after this season, or have his 2 SB wins in the past bought him time despite several years of mediocrity?
Because he's more valuable as a potential starting LT. And he can still be used as a TE, which it sounds (I didn't see the game) like he was today, for short-yardage/redzone situations.
