  1. Why is everyone so giddy about the Bucs? Sorry to say this, but the Vikes now have a crap-ass offense without Moss. I mean, outside of Culpepper, who was inconsistent even WITH Moss, and maybe Wiggins at TE, who do they have on offense? Burleson is a #2 at best. Their rookie WR is raw. They have no #1 RB. And their O-line has only gotten weaker over the years. I scoffed at those who said that the Vikes would be better without Moss, and the proof was last weekend. And on defense, just because you load up on aging name players doesn't mean you have a good defense. And as for ST's, forget about it. Speaking about the Bucs, Griese is good for at least 2 turnovers a game, Williams didn't look impressive until that 71-yard TD, and the Bucs don't stack the box much. I'm more worried about the heat and crowd noise.
  2. Sore ankle. He practiced today.
  3. Schobel will easily get more than just 10 sacks this year. I'm thinking 13.
  4. I'm not worried about Williams. I'm more worried about Eric not being 100% and the effect on the offense, against what appears to be a reborn TB defense.
  5. I thought you were talking about the sudden disappearance of Thurman's Helmet et. al.
  6. Have him line up as tackle-eligible on goal-line plays, and either pass to him or run behind him a la a FB. At least initially then fake it that way and go the other way as teams catch-on.
  7. My wife works at WIC and one of her "clients" stole her wallet. I don't think I have to worry about any of them being "sharp."
  8. Come now. You're not so tough.
  9. I see him back for the Miami game at worst. I can see him playing against the Falcons though, seeing as how he's running routes.
  10. Your wife must be a saint. Thanks. I plan on getting drunk in the endzone this weekend, even though there's no game in Buffalo.
  11. Mmmmm. I loved Brived Dills.
  12. Yep, been married 8 years. Try it sometime (the marriage part, much less for 8 years). Thanks for the help everyone, and here's the outcome. I got a call around 9:00 from a guy looking for "Mr. MadBuffaloDisease." Figuring it was a telemarketer, I said "not home." He said he owns an ice cream shop (near where my wife works) and that he found a wallet with no money but everything else in it. I said "great, I'll be right down." Get there and a nice older couple was just closing up shop and we shot the breeze for a little. Tried to offer him a $20 tip which they refused, and instead said I'd bring the wife and kids down for ice cream in the next day or two. Get home to find that her 3 credit cards were stolen as was the money she had (about $60). Her license was in there and looked untouched, and the SS card was behind it, so I figure that wasn't touched either. Everything else like bank card, store credit cards, insurance cards, photos, receipts (she saves EVERY receipt she gets!), and other tripe was still in there. So I figure we're good since I already cancelled the credit cards and they were probably too stupid and/or fixated on the cash to care about the license and SS card. Thank goodness.
  13. Two Drive Bills?
  14. I think the difference is that after hearing that excuse about 1,000 million times, it gets annoying. JP OTOH had just finished his first game with his new offense, in a game they WON. If he says it another 999 times and in losing efforts, then I'll start to get annoyed as well.
  15. My wife also had a bank debit (VISA) card. It hasn't worked for her in awhile. I've never used the debit feature, but IIRC, you need to enter a PIN number, right? I'm going to cancel it tomorrow, but I'm pretty safe overnight because of the need for a PIN and the fact that it doesn't work, right? Thanks for the help so far.
  16. I thought that Parrish and Euhus were listed as "QUESTIONABLE" and thus wondered why MM would announce they're out. But if they were listed as "OUT" originally, then that answers my question.
  17. He was starting to come-on when he got hurt last year.
  18. Need some help. The wife had her wallet stolen at work. I've contacted the credit card companies so that's fine. But she had her social security card in there as well. Anyone know what I can do about that? Does she need to get a new number or what? Thanks.
  19. Not surprising, although I don't know why he'd announce before gameday (and I don't believe it's a ploy). Might as well save-em-up for Atlanta!
  20. Not necesarily. If they made a special cast for him (which I'm sure they did), it would provide protection for the wrist without compromising his ability to catch the ball. And I haven't heard of a whole lot of WR's who have broken their wrists, so I can't comment on the "how often" question. And as for returning punts or kicks, I doubt he does it this year.
  21. If Parrish can learn to beat the jam, he'll play on the outside.
  22. And that observation is based on...what exactly?
  23. On second though, after perusing the injury lists, these guys are clueless! Under Panthers they have Kris Jenkins as "OUT FOR SEASON" AND "QUESTIONABLE."
  24. BTW, Euhus is listed as "QUESTIONABLE" as well, which would be great news as well if true. Also interesting to note is that Everett is "OUT INDEFINITELY" and Chris Villarrial plays for the Ravens now.
