  1. Sorry but Vrabel's bashing of Warner's head/helmet was not "ticky-tack" even though it might have been "incidental," whereas Woodson's swipe of Brady's helmet was truly "ticky-tack." But both should have been called, and at least the head shot to Warner should have been. As for the AFCCG, I'm talking about 2003. But after this past AFCCG, I've read more than a few posts by Pats fans who felt they were robbed by the refs because of the Hobbs PI call. That was pure comedy.
  2. That's a bullspit excuse. A penalty isn't called because they "let 'em play?" You mean like the AFCCG between the Pats and Colts?
  3. Fine, you win. They both should have been called penalties.
  4. Ouch! Harsh...but true.
  5. I find it amazing that fans feel so secure that the Bills will never leave, that they're willing to try and "make a point" by boycotting games. Ralph is trying to secure the Bills' future in Buffalo with all his head-butting with the NFL big-wigs, and here fans aren't even showing-up to games. Next time maybe Ralph just pulls-up stakes instead of giving fans a chance to buy seats, a la 1998.
  6. The main reason why I'm saying Roscoe should replace him is because he's needed more as a starter, but his play this past year was lacking. I don't know if concentrating more on CB would help him improve, but I doubt it would hurt. But if they move him to nickel DB, which is ideally where he SHOULD be playing, then I'd have no problem keeping him at KR.
  7. There is also an add-on available for FireFox, although I can't remember the name.
  8. 1) Yes he did. Last year. 2) No, it's $1M less than their combined cap hits (2+2=4 > 3). 3) Probably right. 4) He better be! 5) Taking a look at the number of teams with tons of cap room and yes, there will be some big money deals. The Bills will have to strike fast and hard. Will you be including cap savings, Clump? And I read that Shaud Williams had a $3M LTBE incentive this past season that he didn't earn and thus would be put onto this year's cap (a la the Eagles' trick). Did you hear about/include that?
  9. I agree. McGee's play at CB and KR weren't up to his standards. If he's to remain a starter, he should be practicing at CB only. That is just as long as Roscoe is pretty good at KR's.
  10. Are you willing to take that the ultimate end...the Bills leaving town?
  11. PFS has a curfew on the players the night before the SB. As I recall, Jimbo would be getting back to his hotel room by sunrise the morning of each SB. I can understand the partying, but not the night BEFORE the SB.
  12. So that extra 1st round pick ensures they stay on top?
  13. Speaking of the Sabres, I'll bet that if they don't win the Cup this year or next, they don't sell-out the 2008-2009 season.
  14. I'm curious to see how this off-season goes for the Pats. The rest of the league has surely seen how the Pats treat their players, drafted or otherwise and I can't help but think that this will have an effect on their ability to sign players, much less keep their own FA's. And since there are a ton of teams with loads of cap room, and given their cheapness, I don't see them getting into a bidding war for coveted FA's. But I'm sure HD will be back shortly to tell me why this won't be a problem.
  15. Yeah, I think that if they do go after Steinbach or Dielman and offer him more than Peters is making, they have to let JP know beforehand and promise him they'll take care of him when they can (like you said, since his deal was recently redone, he'll have to wait a year from that date).
  16. The question is, do you risk angering Jason Peters by giving Steinbach more money than he's making?
  17. This was Samuel's contract year. That's a red flag. He had 10 INT's whereas the previous 3 years he had a combined 6. Plus he's on a great defense with a top front-4, if not 7.
  18. You know what happens when you assume. Actually I like the idea someone had about the Bills going after Travis Fisher, who will be an UFA from the Rams. If he can stay healthy, he'd be a good addition.
  19. Calm down. That last post wasn't intended for you.
  20. Yeah, if they really wanted him that bad, they could do it. It would probably cost them several players and pushing a good amount of bonus money into the future.
  21. Well, that cinches it right there. The Bills have a WELL-KNOWN history of drafting every high motor white guy in the early rounds, based on the drafts from 2001-2005, and for taking a TE prospect in the middle rounds based on 3 TE's taken.
  22. T_R has a point. I mean LOOK at all the high motor white guys the Bills drafted before the 5th round last year.
