  1. I'd rather take a loss on the road to a non-conference, much less division, opponent, than losing at home to a division rival who is now ahead of me in the standings.
  2. Parrish will be a major upgrade to the offense. He's from a big-time program, so he's used to the pressure and speed of the NFL. He also seemed like a guy dedicated to studying and making himself better, as is the MO of most UM players. And I remember reading somewhere that a good 3rd WR can really open-up an offense. As for Everett, just hearing he COULD play this year is good enough for me. I don't know if I'd risk using him, but if he's cleared to play and wants to play, so be it.
  3. No, you'll be accused of being a) blind, b) dumb, or c) a Losman hater, based on the FACT that Holcomb had -1 yards passing against the Bucs.
  4. I agree totally. He seems to want to limit mistakes which is a good thing. But not to the point of it affecting throws he SHOULD be making.
  5. Thanks and cool!
  6. Really? Got a link to that one? That would be cool if Everett could come back this year.
  7. Where were the trick plays yesterday? I'm sure some would have worked, or at least loosened up the Bucs' defense.
  8. Holcomb looked like crap when he was put into the game. It wasn't just JP. They weren't yesterday. They won't win many games playing like that.
  9. Who cares. With the Pats playing at the Steelers (and likely losing), the Jets playing at the Jags (and likely losing, especially if Martin is out), and the Dols playing, the Bills could be 2-1 and in sole possession of 1st in the division if they win. Who cares what the media says?!
  10. Willis runs better out of the single back set. I agree with going 3 wide, 1 HB, and a TE. Spread the field and provide outlets.
  11. Looks like Fletcher will play this Sunday. Big Mike might be a different story, although I read on the article linked on the front that he wasn't limping afterwards.
  12. He said speed, not pot.
  13. When a punt it's muffed, it's a free ball. Maybe that's why you can't advance it.
  14. Dang, I thought you could! Maybe it's like an onsides kick, which you can't advance either?
  15. You are definitely able to, unless you are downed by the other team.
  16. This was discussed in another thread with regards to Fletcher. The gist being, once he left the game, the defense went to hell. And Big Mike's absence was a blow.
  17. Alright, today was somewhat salvaged. Time to put this behind and move forward.
  18. I thought for sure the Chargers would win. Oh well, what a wacky season so far!
  19. Holcomb looked equally bad in his brief appearance. It wasn't mostly JP's fault, not by a longshot.
  20. Not too surprising. The defense REALLY fell apart after that. And I guess from your replay, Fletch hurt himself on that last tackle, which is more or less when he technically "left" the game because he got injured.
  21. I didn't like it at first, but it turned out alright. Holcomb looked equally as ineffective and when JP came back in, he was able to move the offense (albeit against prevent defense I'd suspect, but still helps build confidence).
  22. The Falcons look like shiite against the defenseless Seahawks. Like I said, get Roscoe back and the Bills are back on track. I see the Pats losing to the Steelers in Pgh, Miami losing to Carolina, and the Jets possibly losing to the Jags.
  23. So true as well.
  24. So true. And if every WR could catch every pass, QB's would have about 10-20 more receptions.
