  1. And so the Peters era begins! The NFL will heretofore be designated BP and AP: Before Peters and After Peters. You have all been warned.
  2. The Falcons don't have near the same defense as the Bucs and they have some injured players (Brady Smith, Kevin Mathis, Allen Rossum). The Bills also won't have to contend with oppressive heat/humidity and crowd noise. Last of all, Vick won't be able to scramble as much as he's used to doing and NEEDS to do to be successful.
  3. Take a look at Miloy's stats last year, despite missing 5 games because of his injury. He should have been a Pro Bowler, and at least an alternate.
  4. The Sabres played a game tonight?
  5. We'll see. I'm not ready to hit the panic button because the Bills lost a non-conference game on the road in sweltering weather, while losing a key member of the offense and defense. Not to mention that the Bucs just MIGHT be a good team. This weekend's game will tell us a lot.
  6. I took that to mean "doh, the Bills blew it on Losman."
  7. Try the Packers, first.
  8. Brady's attempted more than a few deep passes so far this year, and none have been even close, despite guys being wide open. I could understand if they were passes being defensed. And notice I didn't jump into the "Brady can't throw deep" discussion earlier, because last year he had a lot of success throwing deep. But he was throwing deep, and connecting, from the first game onwards. I guess it will be something to watch, and I DID say that "he can't [throw the deep ball]...at least not so far this year."
  9. With Vick now probable to play, he'll get the majority of snaps in practice. But during gametime, he won't be able to use his mobility to get him out of jams and move the chains, and will have to rely on his arm, which isn't his strong suit. And should be need to be pulled, Schaub won't have had a lot of snaps in practice.
  10. He can't...at least not so far this year.
  11. "The calls didn't all go my way!" Anyone see him throwing a fit during the Panthers game, near the end?
  12. Mularkey was open about Willis missing OTA's. I think this might be an extension of that, i.e that Willis SHOULD have been with the team, building a rapport with his teammates. I don't know. All I care about is if it works and leads to better production/wins. Willis is a competitor and I don't see him sulking just to shove it back in someone's face, instead producing and shutting them up that way.
  13. Come now man! You could be paying LESS for FASTER service! I could understand if hi-speed were more expensive, but if you have DSL available for $14.95 in your area, that would save you $7 a month. Plus you get all the pop-up and spam blockers and their service is good. And it's easy to install. Don't resist change. Embrace it, especially when it saves you money, time, and ridicule!
  14. The next one is a non-conference game, so yes. Wouldn't be ideal, but you get the idea.
  15. Even with a loss, the Bills are still starting-off better than last year's 0-3 start.
  16. The big difference is that the Falcons will have to contend with the crowd noise and the Bills won't. Another big thing is that if Vick plays, he won't be scrambling, and that will limit his effectiveness. Bills win.
  17. I see Fletch and Milloy playing, Big Mike not. Could be bad news if they match-up Kearney on the RT (my guess, Jerman).
  18. True. Thankfully that Miami game in week 5 is in Buffalo!
  19. And his brothers: black and red.
  20. He should have said "we need to execute better."
  21. Come now. Milloy is NOT Rodney Harrison.
  22. So "not the same player he was" = "he isn't very good any more?"
  23. LOL! Yeah, you don't want to face the Falcons after a loss, but the Bills don't care when THEY lose. What a tool! This will be the 2nd road game for the Falcons, after travelling from Atlanta to Seattle, and then back again for the Bills game, coupled with Vick's likely absence, and this is another loss for the Falcons. As if the Seahawks' defense is any better!
