Come on now, the rest of the schedule isn't all that bad. I'd say the Pats and SD games are probably the only ones where I give them NO chance of winning. The rest are definitely winnable. There's no great team out there, except for the Colts.
The odds are severely stacked against the Bills given it's on the road and the Pats have 2 weeks to prepare. I say chalk it up as a loss, play loose, and let it all hang out, and see where the chips fall.
But, he just wins. That's why I said NE got lucky when he didn't play last weekend (even though Belichick was whining like a little girl that he didn't) and that I wish the Bills played the Falcons without him.
Well, you can't help but feel for the kid and want to see him succeed. And to his partial credit, he was great on punts. But I don't think the NFL is to the point of super-specialization, needing a long snapper for punts AND one for kicks.
I guess it's a little harder when you're not down by just 3 points or less.
Like I said, it's over for the Pats when Walt Coleman isn't able to save them. The key thing was that intentional grounding on Brady. When I didn't see the flag at first I was thinking "here we go again." Then they threw it and all was right in the world again.
I don't recall he Kerry Collins hit, but he said he intentionally broke Meggett's finger. That is pathetic. He had a shot at the HOF but that's a distant memory now.
It's the end of the 6th week, which would be tomorrow (although for 2 teams week 6 ends a day later, i.e. the MNF teams). I know Tedy Bruschi will be able to start practicing tomorrow, so Everett should be ABLE to, if he can that is.
You mean for the Bucs' home opener, on the road in the heat and humidity, with the Bills having a green QB and the Bucs having Cadillac Williams? Yeah, those are similar situations.
