  1. OJ is innocent! Get over THAT.
  2. OJ's innocent. The criminal court said so.
  3. Why is anyone surprised? The Pats won their 1st 2 SB's thanks to MAJOR help from the refs. You think they were going to NOT favor the Pats on national TV with the new feel-good story of Bruschi returning?
  4. That's it! Throw the kitchen sink at Bruschi!
  5. I don't ask, and don't tell.
  6. I hope he plays on the KO return units. A nice "how do ya do" from Big Peters might make it a short-lived comeback. And that's Tedy with a "y." There is no "i" in his name.
  7. Chris Simms=the Dubya of QB's. Ooops, that's PPP material.
  8. RB Kevin Faulk OT Matt Light WR Troy Brown DL Richard Seymour LB Chad Brown CB Randall Gay S James Sanders QB Matt Cassel A lot of the above are guys who have burned the Bills badly in the past and Gay being out can only help. Here's to hoping!
  9. We mean on-the-field. We're not talking about pedigree.
  10. Nope, didn't work the Denver-Philly game. He's probably ours. Oh joy! Although I DID see him throw an intentional grounding flag on Brady a few games ago, so maybe he's off the payroll? I guess we'll find out soon enough.
  11. Phew! I thought he was talking about the other crack!
  12. Didn't see him listed in any of the games and I don't think he's doing the Denver-Philly game. So it's either tonight or tomorrow night. What are the odds it's tonight? :I starred in Brokeback Mountain:
  13. Whatever it takes! Maybe even some Wing-T!
  14. Let's face it, the Bills will have a tough time tonight. But one thing I've noticed about the Pats is that they have a lot of trouble with trick plays. So I say throw everything but the kitchen sink at them. That means flea-flickers, halfback options, a triple reverse, maybe the option with JP, etc. I mean at least make it interesting.
  15. Don't understand the hating on Favre. The guy has been a 3-time NFL MVP, hasn't missed a start since becoming a starter, has battled through some personal problems, and seems like a nice, down-to-earth guy (who likes to excite young QB's with his tight shorts ). I wish he were a Buffalo Bill.
  16. The problems with that theory are a) the Chefs have a great O-line, b) Holmes is a proven superstar and at the worst no less talented than Johnson (unlike Henry and McGahee where Henry was considered a workhorse and McGahee the potential superstar), and c) the Chefs have a passing game that helps open-up the running game.
  17. Not so fast my friend! Depends on which Giants team shows up.
  18. Anyone who criticizes Wilson is a fool.
  19. Good news. http://www.nfl.com/teams/story/BUF/9010912
  20. I'd take the Pats by more than 9. They had 2 weeks to rest and prepare, are playing at home on National TV, and may get an emotional lift from Bruschi's return. I hope I'm dead wrong, but I don't think the game will be close.
  21. Too bad for you, because I picked the Pats to win this game. And my prediction has nothing to do with Bruschi returning, because he'll probably hold them back more than anything. But if the Pats are stupid enough to play him on ST's, it might be a short-lived comeback.
  22. That's a little harsh. I wouldn't be surprised to see him suffer an injury sometime in the next few games (especially if he plays ST's) that knocks him out for the rest of the season and puts a HUGE black eye on the Pats, further hastening their demise. I think the odds of him suffering some kind of injury are high given his lack of practice/playing time so far, and the fact that he HAD A STROKE NOT LESS THAN 9 MONTHS AGO.
  23. Not because of Bruschi though. And Bruschi won't be enough to save the Pats' season. Too bad the rest of the AFC East sucks, because it would have been like 2002 all over again. You remember that year, right?
  24. Thanks for that. And sorry to say that calf roping is nothing like professional football, where your job is not "sometimes..taking hits from 250# [men];" but what you end up doing almost EVERY play.
  25. Has anyone ever come back from suffering a stroke and continued to play a game as violent as professional football? I know the hole in his heart has been fixed so he won't suffer any more strokes (at least that way), but he DID have a stroke and there is the possibility of further damage, isn't there? Or more precisely, do we know there's NOT? Dumb move by Bruschi, especially after missing all of the off-season, training camp, pre-season, and the 1st 6 weeks of THIS season. Odds are he gets hurt from coming back too soon, either either body or his mind.
