Wanna make some more money this week ?
MadBuffaloDisease replied to e-dog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Then again, maybe not. Which is why I wouldn't touch this game with a ten foot pole. But if I DID have to bet, I'd bet the Cowboys smoke the Eagles. -

Without TO, the Eagles are finished. They won't make the playoffs this year, much less win the division. -
Seriously? In the 1st half, Pass had 3 carries for 19 yards, which isn't good and Dillon had 2 carries for 10 yards. But in the 2nd half Dillon gained 62 yards and scored 2 TD's. I don't know HOW they could have benched Sam Adams for performance, considering it was 3-0 Bills at the half!

Probably for the same reason the Bills are still playing Holcomb at QB: there is still a (remote) chance to win the division. And also because Big Mike is limited by his ankle injury and Gandy is healthy and playing well. My guess is that once the Bills are 3 games out of 1st place, they'll put JP in at QB, have Peters play LT, move Gandy to LG, and put Big Mike back at RT. We will probably also see Preston getting some reps at OG and C. At least that's how I see it. I just wish there were someone better at RT than Big Mike, whose days may be numbered. -

Try 15. I use the "grandma on the toilet" method. It's the gift that keeps on giving. -

I'd just like to reiterate that I STILL want to play in Jewel's yard. -

Especially from someone on a message board with more than ONE post on the topic. They had my sympathies...until they started blaming others. -

I think the answer would be: let's wait and see first. Seems like both Gandy and Teague are being hurt by Anderson being between them. If Big Mike is as natural a guard as McNally seemed to think when he first got here, it should be a big boost to the O-line. And Peters sounds like a player with more promise at RT than Williams. But the proof will be in the pudding, as they say. -

I'd like to play in Jewel's Yard, if you know what I mean! -

I love Gordon Lightcroce! Too bad he converted to Islam, died in a plane crash, and THEN soldout to rap music! -

Well I learned something about the PUP list. Originally I thought that you had only from the 6th week to the 10th week to make a decision about a player on the list. But I guess it's that after the 6th week you can bring the player back at anytime (or until a certain time like week 13, for instance) and then from THAT point have 3 weeks to do something with him. That makes more sense.

I would LOVE to see Everett play this year...but ONLY if he's 100% healthy. Anything other than that is a setup for injury. I'd even go so far as to put him on the active roster and cut Neufeld if he isn't 100%, hoping that by the end of the season he IS 100% and can at least give the Bills a glimpse of what's to come (if only even in practice) so they can plan accordingly.

I must have missed it. What did Watson do that was so amazing? I mean I heard last year at draft time that he was a freak but that he had an injury problem, and then he proceeds to break his leg (I believe). Then THIS pre-season I hear that he's going to be the reason the cover-2 will no longer work against the Pats, and that proves not to be true either. I mean I'd take him (or Graham) over what the Bills have, but I'd need to see more from the kid before I say he's anything special. Now Heath Miller OTOH...

Like I've been saying, that 2001 AFCCG against the Steelers in which even the horrible Drew Bledsoe couldn't lose the game after Brady went down, the 2002 season and THIS season (i.e. no top-5 scoring defense for the Pats), his defense needing to force an average of 3 turnovers in the SB, and still needing Vinatieri to make game/SB-winning FG's, are the reasons Brady is a good, not "great" QB, except to Pats fans and those with an agenda to push. I've also said that take Brady off the Pats and he never wins a SB, and that's proving itself, since Brady is having his best year statistically, but the Pats are only 4-4. And as has been mentioned, the Pats aren't a "dynasty" (except to the aforementioned groups) because they received major help from the refs getting to and/or winning the SB in 2001 and 2003, have won every SB by 3 points, and the NFL/NFC has seen it's worst quality of play these past 4 years (worse than how bad some believe the AFC was back when the Bills were so dominant). Again as I said, I'll give them credit for last year, but that does not make a "dynasty." Without the aid of the refs in 2001 and 2003, it would be like the 49'ers or Packers steadily improving each year until they won a SB (in 1994 and 1996, respectively), but no one would call THOSE teams "dynasties." And the proof is there on videotape, but conveniently explained-away by the aforementioned groups. But most people realize it, hence the reason the Pats have NEVER felt respected and have used it as motivation. Sorry if the above is "trolling" to some. It's actually the truth as I and others have witnessed. If you're a Pats fan, be happy with the trophies, ill-gotten or not. But don't make it and Brady more than what they truly are. -
Mike Gandy considered for Pro Bowl??
MadBuffaloDisease replied to Orton's Arm's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Gotcha. But I believe that the poster was referring to who the Pats have NOW as their starting tackles. Light has been out of commission since week 3. And FTR, I'd take Light over Gandy, but I'm curious to see what Gandy can do with a better LG next to him, because I SURE love Gandy's pricetag. Pace would be ideal, but again it's the money thing. -

I'd take Orlando Pace over Light. Your point? -

Yeah, but Gandy's "below average." Rian Lindell also made that list. How McGee didn't make "return specialist" thought makes me wonder about the list. -
Gandy is NOT "below average."

the PRICELESS commercial
MadBuffaloDisease replied to buffalobillsfootball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That "Visa" takeoff was GREAT! I figured it would rub some Patsy fans the wrong way, as would the drubbing they received. I actually heard a Patsy fan whine earlier in the season that Manning was only winning because of his defense. I mean, can you IMAGINE it? If the Colts win the SB, Pats fans will be besides themselves. -
Can we finally say it's over?

Really! I mean, just think how MANY yards Edge would have gotten had Tedy not slowed him down like that!
