  1. Yeah, sounds like a kidney stone(s) to me. Try coughing to reproduce the pain and feel for any lumps in the nether regions to suggest a hernia.
  2. Will they name the child "Xenu?"
  3. It could have been avoided the first time since Fat Ted came crawling back for less money, but with PW getting twice his old salary, keeping him wasn't an option.
  4. Not sure exactly, but from what I heard on Mike and Mike this morning, it sounded like it was during the catch.
  5. A better TE would definitely help things out. It's no coincidence that Brees suddenly became a good QB when Gates emerged.
  6. Was it "hysterical" or "historical?"
  7. He stepped on the back of the endzone line so he was OOB and couldn't be the first player to touch the ball.
  8. Defense wins championships. Marino never had one, the Bills' came up small in the SB's, and Manning hasn't even had an average one until this year. Manning has been a one-man show but now he doesn't need to be one anymore and that's why I said they'll probably win the next 2 SB's, since their team will be mostly intact (or at least they have the chance to keep it intact) next year.
  9. All the talk was about how he couldn't win the big game and how his contract prevented the Colts from fielding a good defense. I think those will be proven wrong this year (and probably next as well) and I can see them winning the next 2 SB's.
  10. So since TD didn't have someone who would take the same or less, he should have overpaid to keep Pat?
  11. I'll remember THAT one, smart guy.
  12. Forgive me if I'm out of the loop here, but didn't Delhomme throw for LESS yards than JP?
  13. Tom Brady got himself dropped with his performance yesterday.
  14. Kevin Williams has only missed 1 game all season long.
  15. Uh, hello! Did we NOT see firsthand how Pat looks when he's all alone at DT? It's called 2001 and 2002, people, when he was younger and in his prime! Now he's playing next to Pro Bowl DT Kevin Williams. And his age and contract would have been an albatross for the Bills. The Bills made the right move, although I wish someone had been able to step-in and fill his shoes.
  16. Again, Wire not taking the false step to his right probably prevents the TD more than Posey chipping Gaines coming-off the LOS. And Wire's ONLY reponsibility was to cover Gaines whereas Posey had to watch for the run, and was thrown-off by the misdirection.
  17. Yeah, I was watching a certain play where the WR's just run INTO coverage and then just hang-out with a DB next to them. I'm like "WTF!"
  18. This wasn't supposed to be a rebuilding year. The defense was expected to pickup where it left off last year, if not improve with the youngsters maturing. However the loss of Fat Pat was big (but necessary), then Spikes was lost. The good news is that the defense has shown up in spurts (2 of the last 3 weeks), but the Bills still need a dominating DT or 2. And without the dominating defense, the plans (see: the Bears this year) went out the window.
  19. How can anyone blame the defense? If not for Milloy getting the back of his ankle clipped, the game probably is tied at 9-9 (not that giving up 13 points is anything to sneeze at, given the Chargers game last weekend). It's the O-line, plain and simple. No room for Willis to run, not much in the way of protection for JP, and too many penalties. Oh yeah and I second the "Losman plays NOTHING like Harrington" comment.
  20. Yep, that's what they said. And Adams disagreed with the MM and wasn't even at the game. I wonder what's going-on behind the scenes?
  21. Don't be so sure. The loss of Weis and Crennel was HUGE and they annually suffer a ton of injuries. Moreover their best players are STILL the a lot of the older guys, and they're just getting older. Agree on Miami although the Jets will have to give up a lot to get a new QB, need a new RB, and still have major cap issues. They'll be down for a few years still.
  22. They both blew it but Wire screwed up more. Posey was supposed to jam Gaines at the LOS and slow him up, releasing him to Wire. However with the mis-direction, it threw Posey off a bit and he didn't get the jam. Then Wire takes a misstep to his left when he should have been going right to shade the TE, lost him, and boom, TD. Go figure, Milloy probably makes that play, but gets hurt just a few plays before. BTW, it looked like an Achilles when I first saw it, but didn't notice any foot drop when he walked to the sidelines. I haven't heard any reports so I'm assuming no news is good news.
  23. The Bears could be the 2001 Pats.
  24. It's ALL the O-line. In Pgh Mularkey had a great O-line, the running game as a result was one of the best, and l the offense keyed-off of that. But he doesn't have that here, and as you said, the skill positions are loaded (except for TE, which hopefully Everett will fix next year).
