Sounds like Williams and Ngata are considered those "special" types. I could see making a case for Williams, but Ngata fills a much greater need. And a DT who can push the pocket, occupy blockers, and stuff the run (as it appears Ngata can do), is invaluable.
I would think that if the Saints had ANY warm and fuzzies for McPherson, they'd be starting him. But whether they take a QB or LB, it matters not. The Bills IMHO don't need either, and it pushes down another player, like Ngata, to them.
That could very well happen. But in a draft that will have Bush, Leinart, and Ferguson, and could have Young, I think those 4 players go 1-4 regardless. Maybe throw in Hawk. I don't know. We'll see.
Well, that's better than NO channel that NO ONE watches, wouldn't you say? And hey if you subscribe to Showtime, you can get all those great shows like "Queer as Folk" and "The L Word."
Apparently talks are underway with "Showtime" to bring the show there. That's what some of you were proposing, i.e. it going to a pay channel where they could really do it justice.
I'm not a fan of the show, but I caught a few episodes and liked it, but started watching too late. Hopefully this works out for ya's.
Clements-franchise with an eye to trade.
RFA's-minimum tenders or cheap long-term contracts.
Teague-gone.
Matthews-who needs him?
The rest-minimum contract offers and no big deal if any walk.
Neither can Tom Brady or Ben R. The premise behind starting Losman was that the defense was supposed to be as good as last year, same with the ST's, and the running game was supposed to shoulder the majority of the load on offense. The only thing that happened was the ST's still being good. And anyone that thinks that Bledsoe would have done better with this offense is seriously deluding themselves.
Uh, why isn't it just a matter of JP's arm being sore, the X-rays being negative for anything serious, and him sitting out the game? From the sounds of it, he suffered the injury in the 1st quarter and it affected his play.
If you tag a player and then sign him to a long-term deal before August I believe, then the franchise tag is lost for the life of the contract. If a player is tagged and traded, the team gets the tag back when he's traded. I don't know why the Bills signed Fina to a long-term deal and lost the tag, when they could have waited and saved it.
Settle down. I'm just saying that with guys like Bush, Leinart, Young, Ferguson, Hawk, etc., a guy like Ngata probably won't go in the top 5 and the Bills could have a shot at him if they pick lower than 4th.
