  1. He's got a lampshade over his head and is standing in the corner.
  2. That's fine with me. Who, besides April and McNally (at the very least, because there's no one better available) is worth keeping?
  3. I totally agree with you here. And hearing that JP WANTED to play makes me even further want to see MM gone.
  4. Players generally want to play with the guy who is "ready" to win, especially veteran players. But when the guy who is allegedly "ready to win" proves to be little better, if better at all, than the guy who ISN'T allegedly "ready," that's when the coach needs to step in and make the decision to go with the "not ready" guy so as to build for the future. Doing the opposite shows a desperate attempt at trying to save a tenuous job situation.
  5. Actually you're partly right. JP spent all off-season in Buffalo. The problem is, few of his offensive teammates did (Campbell and Euhus were injured so they have an excuse). Evans made it a point to work-out with JP, after finishing some courses at Wisconsin (to get his degree). Moulds never did. So is it any wonder why JP looked so much towards Evans and NOT Moulds? And I still cannot overlook that Dolphins game where he threw 3 TD's in the 1st quarter. That was no fluke.
  6. Who reported this? The media that JP pissed off? Hmmm, credibility issue there? As far as irritating them with his attitude, what I've been hearing out of him is that they need to play better. I'm sure he was none too thrilled that his defense blew a 20 point lead in the 4th quarter of the 2nd Miami game, or that they were carved-up by the Patriots. Looks like another sign Mularkey doesn't command the respect he should.
  7. Not necessarily. I'd be thinking "oh great, another RJ" and be thinking we need a new QB.
  8. Should have made him eat the corn he up-chucked that first time.
  9. Holcomb proved to be a dud. So apparently what the coaches know means jack. Fire MM and some of the coaches. That was all I needed to hear.
  10. The Bills are $9M under the 2006 cap with no significant UFA's, save for Clements who will be franchised and cost about $5.5M against the cap. Then the Bills can save a load more releasing some veterans. Shouldn't be a major problem.
  11. Seeing the results, I'm sure they didn't WANT to play Rivers, to at least preserve the notion that he's worth trading a 1st rounder for. He might prove to be in time, but if I were a GM, I'd have a hard time selling my owner on the idea of trading a 1st for him.
  12. I antipate the Bills having 5 of the top 100 picks, what with their own, Tennessee's, and a comp pick for Pat Williams.
  13. The Bills need to find a run-stuffing DT in FA. That is ONE single move they can make to improve themselves immensely on defense. Getting Spike back will be important, and there's a chance to improve by replacing Posey. As for DB's, Clements is franchised and either stays or gets traded for a 1st, which the Bills use on a draft pick. On offense they do whatever it takes to get a good O-line. They have some pieces in place it seems with Peters (at LT), Gandy (at LG) and Preston (at OC or RG). If Moulds takes a paycut and stays, great. If not, the $5.5M goes towards getting a Wayne or Givens to replace him. They have a ton of cap room, good draft picks and an extra draft pick or 3 (depending on comps), and hopefully a decent GM is coming.
  14. You mean the one with the padded walls?
  15. We were actually one PLAYER away from being the 3rd worse: McGee (thanks, Terrence!). But don't stop buying season tix. Would it make you feel better if the Bills moved?
  16. My opinion would be to return the phone (if it won't hurt the giver's feeling) and try to find a provider that uses the same phone, and try to get a deal on it. Some providers give you money back to sign-up.
  17. They'll change. The Bills will get the 10th pick in the 2nd round, the 9th in the 3rd, then the 8th in the 4th, and so on.
  18. I realize that and was for it originally, but I don't think they can keep him around anymore.
  19. Who out of those would you want? At best I'd say Sherman. Capers I'd take as a DC.
  20. Please let the breasts release Fisher. Even though I hate him for...I...can't...say...it...he's a good coach. Probably the best of any potential HC'ing candidate.
  21. I think Ralph wants to know what happened with JP. If it was a matter of JP being healthy but MM refusing to play him because Holcomb seemingly gave them the best chance, then he's gone because JP should have been inserted after the 2nd INT, and at the least after the 3rd INT.
  22. Ralph is has NOT been involved in the player evaluation process. I don't know WHERE you got that information. But it seems like he WILL be from now on. http://www.buffalonews.com/editorial/20060...?tbd1046068.asp
  23. Yeah and it will be the 6th pick of that round. Plus expect a pick or two for losing Williams and Jennings.
  24. LOL! I think Ralph has to fire TD. No change of duties.
